  • Publication number: 20160335445
Abstract: A system that encrypts a protected file embedded with encrypted policy rules. The policy rules are one or more ‘access rules’ and ‘use rules’ that determine how the file is accessed and used. The rules may be changed at any time and may be location, time and date sensitive. The file may be sent to a recipient or stored in a file accessed by the recipient may accessed. The recipient registers with the system and assigned an ID. Using the ‘access rule’, the file owner assigns a particular recipient ID to the file. A reader program generates a request to a management server to access and use the file. The management server reviews the policy rules to determine if they are satisfied. If the rules are satisfied, a digital certificate is assigned to the protected file is then used allowing the protected file to be accessed and used according to the policy rules.

  • Patent number: 9400891
Abstract: A system that encrypts a file sent by an owner and embeds it with encrypted policy rules. The file may be sent to a recipient or stored in a file accessed by the recipient may accessed. The recipient registers with the system and assigned an ID. • Publication number: 20110162040
Abstract: An owner controlled file protection and control system that uses a protected file that is encrypted and has embedded with access and use control features. The file is selected and encrypted and combined with a set of encrypted policy rules by an encryption software program. The policy rules are one or more ‘access rules’ and ‘use rules’ that determine who, what, when, and where the protected file may be accessed and how the protected file will be used. They may be selectively changed at any time and may be location, time and date sensitive. The protected file may be sent to the recipient or stored in a file that the recipient may accessed. During use, each recipient must register with the system and is assigned a registered ID. Using the ‘access rule’, the owner may assign a particular recipient ID to the protected file. A recipient then uses a reader program to generate a request to access and use the protected file to a management server.

  • Publication number: 20090172778
Abstract: A rule-based security system and method that uses an environmental access control software program (EAC) loaded into the working memory of an electronic device to prevent unauthorized usage of selected hardware components, the operating software program or data files stored on the electronic device. The EAC includes a filter driver, a rules database, an environmental detection engine, a rules application engine, key generator, and a rules menu interface generator. During setup, the rules menu interface generator creates a menu that allows the administrator to select one or more environmental rules that are linked or coupled to various environmental factors on or connected to the electronic device. Some or all of these factors are assigned to a key share value.

  • Publication number: 20050068104
Abstract: One aspect of the invention is an amplifier (10), comprising an input stage amplifier (20) coupled to an output node (81). The amplifier (10) further comprises a class D output stage (50), which comprises at least two switching elements (P1, N1) and coupled to the output node (81). The amplifier (10) also comprises a control circuit (40) coupled to the output stage (50). The control circuit (40) is operable to produce a tri-state output of the output stage (50) in response to a sensed value proportional to an amount of current that flows to the output node (81).
