  • Patent number: 10407912
Abstract: A roof sheeting anchoring system is disclosed including a channel assembly, a pair of anchoring bodies, and a foot. The channel assembly includes a plurality of fastener holes. The anchoring bodies include a flat and tapered end connected to truss-anchor hooks. The anchoring bodies are each removably insertable into the channel assembly. The foot is rotatably affixable to both of the bodies at the attachment points. Each foot includes at least one fastener hole. The roof sheeting anchoring system securely attaches a roof structure to a truss to prevent separation between the roof and the truss. The method of using a roof sheeting anchoring system is included.

  • Patent number: 9843339
Abstract: An asynchronous pulse domain to synchronous digital domain converter for converting pulse domain signals in an input asynchronous pulse domain data stream to synchronous digital domain signals in a data output stream. The converter comprises a plurality of counters arranged in a ring configuration with only one counter in the ring being responsive at any given time to positive and negative going pulses in the input asynchronous pulse domain data stream, each counter, when so responsive, counting a number of time units between either (i) a positive going pulse and an immediately following negative going pulse or (ii) a negative going pulse and an immediately following positive going pulse, the counts of the counters when so responsive being synchronously converted to synchronous digital domain signals in the data output stream. The disclosed asynchronous pulse domain to synchronous digital domain converter can be used with spike domain signals if desired.

  • Publication number: 20050100431
Abstract: Objects such as pieces of mail are stacked without significant contact therewith by producing laminar air flow over a surface which defines or parallels a desired movement path for the objects. The objects are placed and form a barrier between the laminar air flow and ambient air and movement such as turning an edge of the object to prevent impact on other objects and regulation of direction velocity an kinetic energy of the motion of the objects is regulated by the Coanda effect of the laminar flow. The object thus provides an acoustic barrier to reduce generation and propagation of noise by the high pressure air used to create the laminar flow. An air amplifier reduces the volume of high pressure air required to provide control of object motion.

  • Publication number: 20050053797
Abstract: A method and apparatus for applying a UV-curable, anti-fungal coating to raw building materials, and a business method for selling said coated raw building materials is described. The method may include supplying a volume of raw building materials to a conveyor system that conveys the raw building materials through a coating station wherein a UV-curable, anti-fungal coating is applied to the raw building materials. The conveyor system then conveys the coated raw building materials through a drying station, wherein a source of radiation, such as UV lamps, irradiate the raw building material to cure the coating. In addition to its anti-fungal properties, the coating, when dry, may mask cosmetic irregularities and provide a uniform appearance to the raw building materials, while allowing lumber grade stamps to remain visible.
