  • Patent number: 7641074
Abstract: A flow circuit connector provides the capability to change the flow paths of a product valve in a beverage dispenser. The flow circuit connector includes a first member that connects two unconnected flow paths, and a second member that stops the flow of fluid within the flow paths not being utilized. In a first embodiment, the flow circuit connector allows an operator to select between two diluent flow paths representing either a chilled diluent or a chilled and carbonated diluent. Configuration may be accomplished on location, and is not a permanent rerouting. In a second embodiment, the beverage dispenser further includes an ambient flow circuit and additional flow circuit connector components as required to complete or cap any exposed flow circuits. In a third embodiment, the beverage dispenser includes at least two product flow circuits representing the delivery of ambient product or a conditioned product.

  • Patent number: 7168261
Abstract: An icemaker adapter is suitable for use with different beverage dispensers available from different beverage dispenser manufacturers. The icemaker adapter includes a first member movably engaged with a second member, and a passage therebetween. The first and second members move toward or away from each other to adjust for a dispenser depth dimension. In use, the icemaker adapter resides on top of a beverage dispenser and above a storage chamber of the beverage dispenser. An icemaker is mounted onto a top portion of the icemaker adapter, such that ice from a dispensing zone of the icemaker falls through the passage to a storage chamber of the beverage dispenser. In alternative embodiment, the icemaker adapter adjusts for a side-to-side dimension of the beverage dispenser. In still another embodiment, the icemaker adapter adjusts in two perpendicular directions to accommodate by a width and a depth of the beverage dispenser.

  • Patent number: 6321938
Abstract: A beverage dispenser nozzle assembly for increasing availability of drink flavors dispensed therefrom, includes a first, a second, and a third beverage fluid line for carrying a first beverage fluid, a second beverage fluid, and a third beverage fluid therein, respectively. A dispensing nozzle unit linked with the first, the second, and the third beverage fluid lines is provided for receiving and combining the third beverage fluid with the first and/or the second beverage fluids, thereby producing a desired drink for discharge by the nozzle assembly. This single dispensing nozzle unit thus accommodates a large number of beverage fluid lines, thereby enhancing the availability of drink flavors dispensed from the nozzle assembly. Moreover, the nozzle assembly includes a multi-port fitting device and a swivel fitting device for facilitating coupling of a dispensing nozzle unit with a large number of beverage fluid lines.

  • Patent number: 6305177
Abstract: A dispensing system includes an ice supply unit for increasing the ice availability of the dispensing system and a moveable ice gate assembly coupled with the ice supply unit for transporting ice from the ice supply unit about the dispensing system. The dispensing system includes a dispensing system ice storage unit coupled with the movable ice gate assembly of the ice supply unit for receiving ice therefrom. The ice supply unit includes an ice supply unit housing, an ice collection bin disposed in the ice supply unit housing for receiving ice, and an automatic ice maker assembly positioned within the collection bin for supplying ice thereto. The movable ice gate assembly is positioned substantially centrally within the ice collection bin and includes a post for channeling ice therethrough and a movable gate unit linked and in movable engagement with the post for discharging ice received from the post out the movable ice gate assembly.
