  • Patent number: 10959620
Abstract: A system and method of in vivo testing for recently viable dental cellular debris is disclosed herein. The present invention discloses a method and apparatus for detecting for the presence of cellular debris from an endodontic cavity and other areas of a tooth by testing for the presence of cellular debris such as Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP). The sample is collected from a tooth or endodontic cavity and combined with a chemical indicator which causes a detectable change in the indicator that is sensed by a luminescence reader. The level of ATP in a sample corresponds to the level of contamination still present in the tooth or endodontic cavity and can be used to determine what additional steps, if any, are necessary in order to clean and disinfect the tooth. This method of sampling the tooth or endodontic cavity allows for a rapid, chair-side, affordable, and easy to use method to determine the level of cellular contamination.

  • Patent number: 6513130
Abstract: A data processing system 100 is provided which includes a memory 104, an array 204 of memory cells arranged in rows and columns, each row being addressable by an address. Address generation circuitry 201/202 is provided for generating ones of the addresses for accessing selected ones of the rows in the array 204. An associative memory 203 is coupled to the address generation circuitry 201/202 for translating a first address, received from the address generation circuitry 201/202 and addressing a defective one of the rows of the array 204, into a second address addressing an operative one of the rows in array 204, the second address being sent to the memory.

  • Patent number: 6108015
Abstract: A processing system 100 is provided which includes processing circuitry 103 fabricated on an integrated circuit chip 107. An internal memory 104a is also fabricated on chip 107. A first first-in/first-out memory 201 is provided having an input for receiving data retrieved from the internal memory 104a and an output for providing data to processing circuitry 103. An external memory 104b is provided. A second first-in/first-out memory 202 includes an input for receiving data retrieved from the external memory 104a and an output for providing data to the processing circuitry 103.
