Abstract: A portable speaker docking system employing a solar energy charging system and a cooling system is provided. In one form, a speaker docking apparatus for connecting and charging an electronic device can include an housing with internal power storage operable to connect and charge an electronic device using converted solar energy. The apparatus can further include a solar energy charge system including a solar panel coupled to an exterior portion of the housing. The solar module assembly can be fixed to, detachable, an/or adjustable on the docking station. The solar module assembly can feature internal power storage operable to charge an electronic device. The apparatus can further include a cooling system including a fan system operable to cool the docking system and/or the solar panel.

Abstract: A portable storage apparatus and docking station employing a solar energy charging system for electronic devices is provided. According to one aspect, a portable storage apparatus can include a docking station coupled to a portion of the portable storage apparatus. The portable storage apparatus can also include a docking interface coupled to the portable storage apparatus to secure the docking station to the portable storage apparatus. The portable storage apparatus can further include a power source operable to couple converted solar energy to the docking station. The power source can be operable to power an electronic device coupled to the docking station. The portable storage apparatus can also include an antenna operable to be coupled to the docking station, and the antenna can extend away from the docking interface.

Abstract: A notebook carry case employing a solar energy charging and cooling system is disclosed. In one form, a solar energy charge and cooling system can include a first fan coupled to an interior lid portion of a housing configured to store a portable electronic device, and a solar panel array coupled to an exterior portion of the lid and operable to convert solar energy to power the first fan. The first fan can be responsive to the converted solar energy to reduce an operating temperature within the housing.

Abstract: A keyboard-display assembly is mounted includes a tray for holding a keyboard that is moveably mounted within a rack. The display assembly is mounted to the tray and includes a first display support arm and second display support arm that support a display. The display assembly is moveable between a storage position and a viewing position where, in the storage position, the display is in a generally horizontal position with the screen face of the display facing downward and positioned forward of the keyboard within the tray. In the viewing position, the display assembly rotated into a generally vertical position.

Abstract: A vertically adjustable display assembly includes a display and support arms movable between a storage position and a viewing position. The display assembly also includes rotation support brackets slidably attached to slots formed in the support arms such that as the display assembly rotates from the viewing position to the storage position, the rotation support bracket will position the display with respect to the support arms to be properly position with respect to a keyboard to be placed in the storage position.

Abstract: A system and apparatus for charging an electronic device using solar energy are disclosed. In one form, an apparatus for charging an electronic device is provided. The apparatus includes a first charge port operable to be connected to an energy source and an energy repository operable to store energy provided by the energy source and to actively couple energy provided by the energy source to an electronic device. The apparatus further includes a second charge port operable to be connected to the electronic device to provide either the stored energy or the active energy to the electronic device.
