  • Publication number: 20120138209
Abstract: A method of manufacturing paint roller covers is disclosed in which the paint roller covers are manufactured from a seamless segment of tubular paint roller cover fabric that is placed onto a cylindrical forming tube having a segment of bonding material temporarily secured on its outer surface under the segment of tubular paint roller cover fabric. The cylindrical forming tube is placed on a heated mandrel to apply heat thereto to cause the bonding material to bond to the interior of the segment of tubular paint roller cover fabric. The cylindrical forming tube is removed from the mandrel and cooled, and the segment of tubular paint roller cover fabric becomes secured to the bonding material to produce a semi-rigid paint roller cover segment. The semi-rigid paint roller cover segment may be finished into paint roller covers.

  • Publication number: 20060074159
Abstract: A room temperature curable water-based mold release agent that is useful for demolding composite parts, such as epoxy and polyester based polymer materials. The mold release agent is curable at low temperatures, such as room temperature, but is thermally stable up to conventional epoxy based composite molding temperatures, e.g., greater than 200 or 280° C. The mold release agent is useful for demolding large composite parts that are cured in large ovens at high temperature when the molds themselves are prepped at room temperature before placing in the oven. The mold release agent is also useful for demolding polyester composite parts that are prepared and cured at low temperature such as room temperature.

  • Publication number: 20050126558
Abstract: A multi-position furnace is provided that can be positioned for downflow operation, upflow operation, left horizontal flow operation, or right horizontal flow operation without major modifications in the field. The furnace includes a multi-position condensate draining system which facilitates draining of condensate fluid regardless of the orientation of the furnace. The condensate draining system includes a header box and an exhaust manifold, each of which includes a number of drain ports that allow fluid condensing from combustion gasses to be drained regardless of furnace orientation. A trap is configured for attachment to the furnace in any one of four different positions, and receives condensate fluid from the header box and from the exhaust manifold. An air intake manifold is specially configured to maintain a low profile, thereby facilitating use of the multi-position condensate draining system.
