The substrate may have an outer surface for facing outwardly from the display surface when the substrate is applied to the display surface, and an inner surface for facing toward the display surface when the substrate is applied to the display surface. The article may also include an identification circuit integrated with the substrate and encoding an identification code. The article may further include a layer of adhering substance applied to at least a portion of the inner surface of the substrate.

Abstract: A laminated liner system of the invention includes a base layer with a front face for adhering a plurality of labels thereon and a back face opposite the front face. A reinforcing layer has a front face positioned adjacent to the back face of the base layer. Optionally, the reinforcing layer may extend to the lateral side edges of the base layer or may be spaced from the side edges of the base layer. An adhesive adheres the front face of the reinforcing layer to the back face of the base layer. The invention also includes a method of applying the reinforcing layer to the base layer, and an apparatus for applying the reinforcing layer to the base layer.

A second leaflet comprises a second folded panel having a second fold extending substantially parallel to the first axis of the label structure. The second leaflet is nested in the first leaflet. An assembling adhesive adheres the second leaflet to the first leaflet.

Abstract: A resealable, overlaminated leaflet label is disclosed having a folded leaflet overlaid by a cover sheet having opposed marginal portions extending beyond the edges of the leaflet. The undersurface of the cover sheet is coated with peelable adhesive material such that the marginal portions are peelably adhered directly to the surface of an article with the leaflet disposed between the article and the cover sheet. A base sheet is not used. The undersurface of the bottommost panel of the leaflet may be coated with an adhesive material leaving an adhesive-free peripheral margin.

Abstract: A label assembly includes a base label, informational material, and a clear over-laminate sheet. The informational material is completely encased between the clear over-laminate sheet and the base label by sealing the marginal edges of the sheet to the outer portions of the base label. The front sheet of the informational material and the front surface of the base label are provided with identical indicia. In use, the label is attached to the product such that the front sheet of the informational material is clearly visible through the clear over-laminate sheet to properly mark the product before its sale. After the product is sold, the end user may remove the clear over-laminate sheet to gain access to the information material provide therein. Once the over-laminate sheet and informational material have been removed, the indicia printed on the base label functions to properly mark the product.
