  • Patent number: 11878913
Abstract: A system and method of removing grit and contaminants from a lime oxide flour where the lime oxide flour begins as a standard lime flour which has a particle-size distribution of greater than 90% minus 100 mesh and less than 80% minus 200 mesh. The standard lime flour is then refined via classification to a refined lime flour which has greater than 80% minus 200 mesh. The refined lime flour may then be used for formation of lime hydrate at end-user on site production where it is typically less reactive to slaking water temperature variations.

  • Patent number: 11656117
Abstract: A rotary airlock test and demonstration setup, system, and method allowing for rotary airlocks to be tested for air leakage, wear, and particularly for inconsistent wear. The system allows for testing of the rotary airlocks on site utilizing a truck mounted system and even in situ should a portion of the air path for the testing be part of the pneumatic conveyor the rotary airlock would be used with.

  • Publication number: 20220105523
Abstract: Systems and methods for generation of lime hydrate compounds and particularly highly reactive hydrated lime (HRH) with a reduced resistivity through the inclusion of a sodium compound generally in the slaking water used in generating the lime hydrate or HRH. The compound may then be used in systems which include a Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) for SO2 mitigation without many of the associated problems in ESP performance.

  • Publication number: 20210187437
Abstract: Systems and methods for the effective sequestration of waste gases from an industrial process such as, but not limited to, one or more lime or cement kilns used in the production of quicklime. This system may be used in conjunction with one or more shafts to an existing or abandoned mine that includes water capable of removing various pollutants in the gas stream, including but not limited, to sulfur compounds, chlorine compounds, mercury compounds, and carbon dioxide. Such pollutants may be sequestered in the mine itself through the process of particulate formation when the gas stream reacts with the mine water.
