Publication number: 20250237355Abstract: A dispensing system for filling and refilling user propane tanks comprised of a point of purchase payment system with interactive display. Each purchased propane tank is filled at an access point within the dispensing unit for users to retrieve their order. A secondary payment method involves the use of a mobile app to purchase propane tanks and propane. A docking area takes both new tanks and tanks that need refilling. When refilling a propane tank, the user inserts the propane tank into the docking area. The propane tank is mechanically filled and inspected with cameras for damage and a leak test is conducted returned to the original docking area for the user to retrieve. The final amount on the customer invoice is based on the actual quantity of propane delivered into the user tank. The system also includes an autofill nozzle and autofill valve for application such as RVs.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 18, 2024Publication date: July 24, 2025Inventors: Michael Foley, Charles Wood, Martti Lemieux, Tony Peterson, Randy Hanson, Caleb Vainikka

Publication number: 20250197109Abstract: A carousel positioned around a dispensing tank not having a enter hub or physical center axis. Each carousel level has an 11 slot input capacity to receive and store user propane tanks and one open area to allow the robotic picker to pass vertically unobstructed. The carousel rotates clockwise or counterclockwise with the aid of a motorized track mounted next to or under the carousel. Markings along the outer surface of the carousel allow tracking and location. Multiple carousel levels are positioned vertically around the dispensing tank. Carousels ride along castor rails positioned around both inner and outer ridges of carousel. When a stored user propane tank is delivered to a customer, the carousel rotates to an available user propane tank within its available inventory and delivers the user propane tank to a door slide moves user propane tanks to a door users can access.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 17, 2024Publication date: June 19, 2025Inventors: Michael Foley, Charles Wood, Martti Lemieux, Tony Peterson, Randy Hanson, Caleb Vainikka

Patent number: 8883902Abstract: A method of covering an anomaly in a wall substantially to match a pre-existing texture pattern surrounding the anomaly comprises the following steps. A valve is supported on a container assembly to define a main chamber. Contained material comprising wall material concentrate and propellant material is disposed within a main chamber defined by a valve and a container assembly. An actuator relative is arranged relative to the container assembly such that displacement of a button changes the valve from a closed configuration to an open configuration. A first portion of the contained material is applied to the anomaly. A second portion of the contained material is applied to the base coat. The second portion of the contained material forms a desired texture pattern on the base coat that substantially matches the pre-existing texture pattern.Type: GrantFiled: December 31, 2012Date of Patent: November 11, 2014Assignee: Homax Products, Inc.Inventors: William Stephen Tait, John Kordosh, Steve Moore, Randy Hanson

Patent number: 8344056Abstract: A method of covering an anomaly in a wall substantially to match a pre-existing texture pattern surrounding the anomaly. The method comprises the following steps. A valve is supported on a container assembly to define a main chamber. Contained material comprising wall material concentrate and propellant material is disposed within the main chamber. An actuator relative is arranged relative to the container assembly such that displacement of a button relative to the valve changes the valve from a closed configuration to an open configuration in which a portion of the propellant material is allowed to force the contained material out of the main chamber through the outlet. A first portion of the contained material is applied to the anomaly by directing the outlet at the anomaly and displacing the button. Optionally, a second portion of the contained material may be applied to the base coat by directing the outlet at the base coat and displacing the button.Type: GrantFiled: March 1, 2010Date of Patent: January 1, 2013Assignee: Homax Products, Inc.Inventors: William Stephen Tait, John Kordosh, Steve Moore, Randy Hanson

Publication number: 20080247267Abstract: In a method of cleaning a rotary mixing device having a mixer portion and a driving shaft, a shield is located over at least the mixer portion. The mixing device is rotated, expelling material clinging to or trapped by the mixing portion, such as paint, from the mixer portion of the mixing device. This material is blocked or caught by the shield. In one embodiment, the shield is cylindrical in shape and has a base with an opening through which the shaft of the mixing device may extend, and an open second end leading to an interior area for containing the mixer portion of the mixing device.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 8, 2008Publication date: October 9, 2008Inventors: Ross Clawson, Randy Hanson, Jane Wasley

Patent number: 6913407Abstract: A system for patching a destination surface to match an existing texture pattern. The system comprises texture material, a tube member, and a sponge member. The texture material comprises a base, a carrier, and particulate material. The tube member contains the texture material and defines a container opening through which the texture material may flow. The sponge member defines an applicator surface and a sponge opening. The sponge member is secured relative to the tube member, and the texture material is forced out of the tube member through the container opening and the sponge opening and onto the applicator surface. The applicator surface of the sponge member is brought into contact with the destination surface to transfer texture material on the applicator surface to the destination surface.Type: GrantFiled: August 8, 2002Date of Patent: July 5, 2005Assignee: Homax Products, Inc.Inventors: Les Greer, Randy Hanson

Publication number: 20030071735Abstract: A novel wildlife warning system is provided herein. The system includes one or more vehicle sensors adjacent a roadway to sense an approaching vehicle, and to provide a sensor signal upon sensing the approach. One or more warning alarms which are remote from the roadway are configured to generate a wildlife warning signal. One or more transmitters are remotely connected to the vehicle sensor or sensors for transmitting an actuating signal to the warning alarm or alarms upon reception of the sensed signal, thereby to send a warning to the wildlife. The warning alarms may be chain triggered, or may be controlled by a master controller in a pre-programmed manner.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 4, 2002Publication date: April 17, 2003Inventors: Randy Hanson, Terry Bergan
