    Abstract: The present invention relates to the visual representation and navigation of erroneous fields in a document. A method in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention includes: detecting erroneous fields in a document; highlighting each erroneous field in the document; displaying an error message on the document, wherein the error message corresponds to one of the erroneous fields; displaying a first visual indicator adjacent the error message; and displaying a second visual indicator adjacent the erroneous field corresponding to the error message. Using the visual indicators, a user can locate the erroneous field in the document corresponding to the error message.
