  • Patent number: 8299920
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products are provided for tracking one or more items. In one exemplary embodiment, there is provided a method for tracking one or more items. The method may include periodically detecting, by a sensor device, sensor information of the one or more items, and periodically transmitting, by the sensor device, the sensor information. The method may also include determining if the one or more parties is authorized to receive the sensor information. The method may also include transmitting the sensor information to the one or more authorized parties. The method may further include determining if the one or more parties is authorized to receive the sensor information and the periodically transmitting the sensor information to the one or more authorized parties based on a set of one or more permissions that grants or restricts access of the one or more parties to the sensor information based on the set of one or more permissions.

  • Publication number: 20120069478
Abstract: A method for conducting ESD current through an integrated circuit formed on a semiconductor substrate includes sensing an ESD potential between a first I/O pad and a second I/O pad of the integrated circuit, providing a current path for ESD current from the first I/O pad of the integrated circuit to a portion of a first metal line in the integrated circuit, providing a current path for ESD current from the portion of the first metal line to the substrate, and providing a current path for ESD current from the substrate to the second I/O pad of the integrated circuit.

  • Publication number: 20100267375
Abstract: A method of management of a wireless device in an aircraft may include transitioning the wireless device from a first mode to a second mode based on data that is indicative of a change in flight condition of the aircraft. One of these modes may be a state of the device in which a transmitter of the device is deactivated and the other mode may be a state of the device in which the transmitter is activated. The data indicative of the change in flight condition may either be downloaded to the device from an external source, acquired from a sensor(s) embedded in the device, or may be determined based on both the data acquired by the sensor(s) and data downloaded to the device.

  • Patent number: 7623033
Abstract: A system and method for tracking items may store in memory first association data reflecting an association between an item tracking device and a beacon device when the item tracking device is within a predetermined range of the beacon device. The item tracking device may correspond to a first item, and the beacon device may correspond to an area that contains multiple items including the first item. Furthermore, the system and method for tracking items may periodically transmit sensor data to a database. The sensor data may be transmitted to the database from the beacon device to provide information about an environment of a group of items from the multiple items within the predetermined range of the beacon device.

  • Patent number: 5626093
Abstract: A shift lever indicator assembly is provided for use in conjunction with a shift lever having a pivot axis. The shift lever indicator assembly comprises a housing having a housing track. An indicator member having a flag portion is slidably located within the housing track. The indicator member also includes an indicator arm connected to the flag portion, the indicator arm being connected to the shift lever such that the flag portion will be moved about the pivot axis of the shift lever when the shift lever is moved while allowing the flag portion to move lateral to an arc about the pivot axis.
