  • Patent number: 11878811
Abstract: Aspects of this disclosure relate to externally accessible auxiliary power unit (APU) pump assembly, comprising: a pump configured to pressurize an accumulator that is used to start an APU of an aircraft; a pressure gauge for the accumulator; and a support frame configured to be mounted within an outer wall of the aircraft, wherein the support frame defines an externally accessible compartment and secures the pump and the pressure gauge within the externally accessible compartment.

  • Patent number: 11731752
Abstract: Aspects of this disclosure relate to a removable fuselage expansion window assembly, comprising: a window panel; an outer window frame; a window bracket configured to secure the window panel to the outer window frame; an inner window frame with an indented rim that is aligned with the window bracket; and a latch assembly located below the indented rim of the inner window frame between the outer window frame and the inner window frame. The latch assembly includes one or more retainers to hold a bottom portion of the removable fuselage expansion window assembly within a rectangular frame formed by vertical and horizontal beams in an outer wall of an aircraft, wherein the latch assembly includes a lever that releases the removable fuselage expansion window assembly by disengaging the one or more retainers from the rectangular frame when the lever is pulled.

  • Patent number: 11535357
Abstract: Aspects of this disclosure relate to a custom aircraft door mounting system that employs a vertical rolling motion enabled assembly, comprising: a first fitting configured to be mounted to an overhead structure of an aircraft, the first fitting including a cam follower slot formed within the first fitting; an elastomeric bearing pivotally coupled to a second fitting; and a cam follower coupled to the elastomeric bearing, the cam follower being configured to slide vertically within the cam follower slot to accommodate relative motion between the second fitting and the overhead structure of the aircraft.

  • Patent number: 8317135
Abstract: A flexible mounting assembly allows relative movement between a top and a bottom structural member of an air frame, for instance, a helicopter. The flexible mounting assembly comprises a vertical frame member and an isolation frame member where one of the vertical frame member and the isolation frame member has a pin and the other of the vertical frame member and the frame isolation member has an aperture adapted to slidingly receive the pin in a way to accommodate relative vertical motion therebetween while substantially restraining lateral movement therebetween. The flexible mounting assembly may also include a horizontal shear wall assembly extending between adjacent vertical frame members that accommodates relative vertical motion between top and bottom structural members while substantially restraining lateral movement therebetween.

  • Patent number: 5529557
Abstract: A frame has a base and four vertical members supporting a pair of longitudinal supports spaced evenly apart to define a slot. A pair of seats are arranged in opposition at the ends of the frame and a exercise arm is located between the seats. The exercise arm reciprocates between the seats, and has handles for gripping. A dashpot provides resistance to movement of the exercise arm. The device can be adapted for use by one or two users.
