    Abstract: Hair care compositions are provided in which a silicone oil is dispersed in water by the action of a diquaternary polydimethylsiloxane. Polyvinylpyrrolidone may be included as a co-dispersant/stabilizer. The dispersed silicone oil combination is useful in hair conditioner formulations.
