Abstract: A freestanding back therapy and multiple exercise station on which various therapeutic, stretching, bending, twisting, extension and inversion exercises may be carried out utilizing the user's weight for fully flexing and decompressing the spine and strengthening the trunk and back muscles of the user. The station has a frame of tubular construction with a floor engaging base, front and rear vertical upright members, a horizontal top member extending between upper ends thereof, and a cushioned forearm pad on each said horizontal member with handgrips at outer of the horizontal top members. A lower pair of vertically spaced padded cross members extend transversely between the rear vertical upright members to serve as foot supports. A central upright member is connected at a lower end with at least one padded cross member and has a forward and angularly upward extending upper portion. A backrest pad is mounted the central upright member.

Abstract: This invention is a scalable docking and equipment enclosure system that provides secure mechanical and electrical connectivity for mobile digital electronics equipment. The system provides for protection of connectors when the equipment unit is separated from the docking unit, proper alignment of equipment within the docking unit, protection against forceful insertion and damage of equipment, and secures mechanical latching of the equipment unit within the docking unit once the equipment unit is fully inserted.

Abstract: A wireless microphone attached to a ruggedized, mobile digital video recording system may be used to record audio of events when activated. To conserve file space in a storage device, a sensor may be used to activate the microphone for audio recording, and to cause video recording to begin at the same moment through a pairing mechanism between the wireless microphone and the mobile digital video recording system. This sensor activation provides a complete audio/visual record of the event, or series of events, that caused the sensor to trigger. The microphone may also be manually triggered, thus providing a user with a means to capture audio/visual records in an ad hoc fashion. All recorded events are saved to files in a high-capacity storage device for later retrieval and review.

Abstract: A wireless microphone system for use with a mobile digital recording system is disclosed. The wireless microphone system is comprised of a wireless microphone with a built-in transceiver and an in-vehicle transceiver that is connected to a mobile digital recording system. The wireless microphone can transmit audio information in real-time to the in-vehicle transceiver when the wireless microphone is in radio range of the in-vehicle transceiver. The wireless microphone can operate out of radio range of the in-vehicle transceiver by saving recorded audio data to a memory. The saved audio information can be downloaded to the in-vehicle transceiver when the wireless microphone is back in radio range of the in-vehicle transceiver, and the system is enabled to synchronize the saved audio information with other information collected by the mobile digital recording system during the time that the wireless microphone was out of range of the in-vehicle transceiver.

Abstract: This invention automatically captures an image of an object, such as a vehicle or license plate, in the view of a camera mounted in a vehicle, such as a police car, without requiring any action upon the part of the driver of the vehicle containing the camera. The camera also adjusts for poor weather conditions and low light conditions, capturing a sharp image stored for later review and use. This invention is particularly useful for police officers during traffic stops, allowing the officer to concentrate upon the stopped vehicle rather than splitting attention between the vehicle and the video capture, providing the officer with a safer experience in the performance of their duties.

Abstract: A helmet, sized and shaped to receive the head of a wearer, includes a ballistic shield that is pivotally movable between a raised position for spanning and protecting the frontal area of the face of the wearer and a lowered position for spanning and protecting the mandibular area of the face of the wearer. Detent means interacting between the helmet and the shield releasably retain the ballistic shield in the lowered position and in the raised position.
