    Abstract: An improved hand-activated toilet seat/lid lifting apparatus is described that is configured for attachment to the side of a toilet, both commercial and residential designs, to allow the user to lift the toilet seat without having to directly touch the seat. The lifting apparatus may also include a flushing means connected to the existing flush lever of the toilet to allow the user to flush the toilet with the lifting apparatus without having to touch the flush lever itself.
