  • Patent number: 8774015
Abstract: An example method involves electrically coupling first and second nodes of a device to a port of a digital subscriber line access multiplexer (DSLAM) and to a first end of a communication circuit. The communication circuit facilitates electrical coupling of the port of the DSLAM to a central office switch at a second end of the communication circuit. A signature circuit is electrically coupled between the first and second nodes to generate a signature signal in response to a test signal injected onto the communication circuit at a second end of the communication circuit. The signature signal has a magnitude substantially proportional to the test signal. First and second conductors of the communication circuit are electrically coupled to respective ones of the first and second nodes. Third and fourth conductors of the port of the DSLAM are electrically coupled to respective ones of the first and second nodes.

  • Patent number: 7274655
Abstract: A method and system are provided for rehoming a digital subscriber line access multiplexer between a first data switch and a second data switch or ports on a single data switch. An extension permanent virtual circuit is established between the first data switch and the second data switch and a physical loop-back circuit is established at the second data switch for routing data from an output port of the second data switch to a temporary input port. A permanent virtual circuit between a data switch servicing a network service provider and the first data switch is removed, and a permanent virtual circuit between the data switch servicing the network service provider and the second data switch is established.

  • Patent number: 6648051
Abstract: A foldable dry erase surface, such as a temporary wall, permits writing on the surface as is typically done with a dry erase board. The dry erase surface includes individual panels that are hinged together so that the surface formed by the panels is foldable. The individual panels have a dry erase film attached to them so that writing may occur on the panels themselves. The dry erase surface may be collapsed when not in use, or it may be expanded when it is necessary to write on or read from the surface. The dry erase surface is collapsed or expanded by pivoting the panels about the hinged connections, which is typically done by pushing or pulling an end panel of the dry erase surface.
