In addition, the telematics system includes a gateway system configured to transmit data through a network to an in-vehicle telematics device and receive data from the in-vehicle telematics device, wherein the data comprises diagnostic data and/or location-based data associated with a host vehicle. The telematics system also includes a database in communication with the gateway system and the web services interface, wherein the database is configured to receive and store data transmitted from the gateway system and/or the web services interface.
