Abstract: A method and user terminal for executing an anonymous or limited persona on a mobile technology platform (MTP) are provided. The method includes configuring a persona to be an anonymous persona by hiding at least an activity performed within the persona; executing the anonymous persona in a background operation of the MTP; checking if a secret request to activate the anonymous persona has been received; and activating the anonymous persona in the foreground of the operation of the MTP, upon receiving the secret request.

Abstract: A method for customizing a service to a user on a mobile technology platform based on an inferred context is presented. The method comprises identifying activities performed by a user of the mobile technology platform; inferring a current context of the user based on the identified activities and data about the user collected from at least one of the mobile technology platforms and at least one device associated with the user; and customizing the service to the user based on the inferred context.

Abstract: A method and system are provided for customizing a service to a user on a mobile technology platform. The method include determining which of a plurality of personas defined in the mobile technology platform is an active persona, wherein each persona of the plurality of personas is defined as a set of user preferences associated with an operating system of the mobile technology platform; and customizing a service to the user based on the active persona.

The platform comprises an operating system executed by the processor; and a software program configured to run on the operating system, wherein the software program is further configured to establish a plurality of personas for a user of the mobile technology platform, wherein each of the plurality of personas has a unique set of user preferences associated with a persona, each of the unique set of user preferences corresponds to a unique execution environment, wherein the software program is further configured to establish a first display portion comprising a first persona environment and a second display portion comprising a second persona environment, wherein the first and second persona execution environments do not overlap.
