Abstract: A display system including a display device and an auxiliary body. The display device has a display member, such as an image affixed to at least one surface thereof. The image can be both fixed and selectively alterable. The auxiliary body is detachably secured to the display device and may include at least one of a bar code, coupon or programmable microchip. The auxiliary body is detachably secured to the display device by a scored portion, a tabbed portion or other weakened feature, so that the display device and auxiliary bodies can easily be separated.

The user can access a website comprising the display article customization system to customize the display article by adding text, graphics and other features onto the display article, such as a wristband, and order the customized wristband over the network. The user can access an online data collection and manufacturing control framework capable of accurately generating, processing, and transmitting text and graphics into an automated manufacturing process that fabricates wristbands of varied material construction. All data is transmitted securely between the user and the manufacturing server.
