    Abstract: A substrate carrier with a generally flat base, a plurality of fence portions protruding from the base to bear against sides of the substrates, and a plurality of arms spring biased toward the fence portions to retain the substrates, the arms having portions exposed to the underside of the base for engaging external actuating means to retract the arms for insertion or removal of the substrates.
