  • Patent number: 10961966
Abstract: A fuel injector has an injector nozzle with nozzle body having internal room and nozzle wall hole connecting this room to exterior of the nozzle body. A valve needle is movable in a longitudinal direction and received in the internal room. The valve needle has an internal fuel channel with inlet located at a circumferential surface of a first portion. The nozzle wall hole has a circular cross-section with the same diameter as the first valve needle portion defined by walls extending in parallel with the longitudinal direction of the needle. The fuel inlet of the fuel channel is located on said walls of the nozzle wall hole in a second position to prevent fuel entering the fuel channel and located inside the internal room in a first position for receiving fuel from this internal room and injecting it into a combustion chamber of a cylinder of an engine.

  • Publication number: 20190353127
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a fuel injector for supplying fuel into a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine. The fuel injector comprises an injector body, a nozzle, a needle, and a nozzle retainer removably arranged at the injector body to retain the nozzle against the injector body. The nozzle comprises a first channel adapted to contain fuel. The injector body comprises a second channel adapted to contain fuel. The first and second channels are fluidically connected. The needle is slidably arranged in the first and second channels. The needle comprises an upper needle section and a lower needle section. The lower needle section is removably connected to the upper needle section. The present disclosure also relates to a nozzle for a fuel injector, a lower needle section for a fuel injector, and an internal combustion engine comprising a fuel injector.

  • Patent number: 9318819
Abstract: A cable terminal for electrical connection of a wire to a component. The cable terminal (3) includes a first part (6) and a second part (7). A first part (6) connects to the wire. A second part (7) includes a longitudinal and continuous slot (19) with a first section (8), adapted to the width of a screw head on a screw with which the cable terminal is to be fitted to the component, and a second section (10), adapted to the width of the screw's threaded section. In a first position the slot (19) can be passed over the screw head in the first section (8) so that the cable terminal (3) can be displaced in a direction along the slot so that the screw ends up in a second position in the second section (10). The second part (7) of the cable terminal includes a part (12) that forms a roof (13) positioned at least partly above the first section (8).
