Abstract: Aspects include a gas inlet valve. The gas inlet valve includes: a gas passage unit, where the gas passage unit has a sealing surface in an inner volume, an adjustment device having an adjustment unit, where the adjustment unit projects into the inner volume, and a flexible sealing element which seals the adjustment device from the inner volume. The adjustment device has a pretensioning element to provide a pretensioning force pressing the valve disk in the closing direction. The adjustment device has a pneumatic drive cylinder coupled to the adjustment unit and an opening force counteracting the pretensioning force. The adjustment device has a limiting element. The limiting element is shaped and mounted in such a way that a position of the stop point along the adjustment axis can be varied by actuating the limiting element, wherein the position of the stop point defines a maximum valve opening.
