  • Patent number: 10264742
Abstract: The invention relates to a system, particularly for vegetation cultivation, including a water reserve, a device for controlling the flow towards the exterior of the volume contained in the reserve, including a floating regulator placed in the reserve to monitor the level thereof, which floating regulator defines a chamber having at least one upper inlet orifice in fluidic communication with the reserve volume, at least one lower calibrated outlet orifice of reduced section in communication with the exterior, such that the floating regulator allows a discharge of water towards the exterior via the outlet orifice at constant flow rate as long as the water level in the reserve is above the height of the inlet orifice and interrupts the discharge of water towards the exterior via the outlet orifice when the water level is below the inlet orifice to then define a water reserve. The invention also relates to the floating regulator, the use thereof and/or of the system, and a water reserve control method.

  • Publication number: 20190085534
Abstract: Temporary water retention device (2) comprising: one or more water retaining tank(s) (21), forming a temporary water reservoir and comprising water inlet and/or outlet means, regulation means (23) designed to regulate the flow rate of water through the inlet and/or outlet means, a level sensor (25) configured to measure the level of water retained in the or one of the retaining tanks, and communication means (27) comprising: o a first communications interface designed to receive data from the level sensor, o a second communications interface interfacing wirelessly with a remote server, and o data processing means configured to process data received by the first interface and so that the communication means transmit processed data via the second communications interface.

  • Patent number: 9302828
Abstract: A device for discharging water from an inner space of a temporary water retention tank through a first discharge passage (2), characterized in that it comprises: a conduit (1) laid out for ensuring fluidic communication between the inner space and the first discharge passage (2), the conduit (1) having an inner section (12), the surface area of which increases in the direction of flow of the water in the conduit towards the first discharge passage (2) and an obturator (3) positioned inside the conduit (1), and controlled so as to be moved inside the conduit (1) according to the water level in the inner space, the displacement of the obturator (3) in the conduit (1) allowing regulation of the leak rate through the first discharge passage (2) regardless of the water level in the inner space between a first level and a second water level.

  • Publication number: 20110290341
Abstract: According to a first aspect, the invention relates to a container (10) for temporarily holding water on the roof of a building, including a bottom (11), a side wall (12) surrounding the bottom (11) and an overflow opening (14) for draining surplus water when the volume of water collected in the container (10) exceeds a buffer volume, characterised in that the container (10) includes a water-draining means configured to force water with a temporary storage volume which is lower than the buffer volume to flow according to a regulated leakage rate (13), and in that the dimensions of the bottom are smaller than the dimensions of a sloping roof on which the container (10) can be placed so that the water load is distributed evenly on the surface of the roof when a plurality of containers (10) of the same size cover the surface of the roof.
