Abstract: A method is provided for type-dependent determination of a state of health or a state variable corresponding to a state of health, of a battery pack for supplying an electrically powered processing device with electric drive power. The battery pack and a charging device are mutually coupleable for the supply of the battery pack with the electric charging power. The charging device is from a set of different types of charging devices. The method recognizes a type of the coupled charging device, particularly by way of the battery pack, and determines the state of health or the state variable in dependence of the type thus recognized, particularly by way of the battery pack.

Abstract: A battery charging management system and method for a battery fleet having a plurality of rechargeable, communication-enabled, battery units, includes a charging management base configured for transmitting charging setting information for the battery units, a plurality of user terminals configured for transmitting battery-charging-related user predefinition information, a respective charging control unit in each of the battery units, and a communication connection for data transfer between the charging management base at one end and the battery units at the other end and between the user terminals at one end and the charging management base and/or the battery units at the other end. The charging setting information and/or the user predefinition information includes charging mode information with regard to a plurality of different charging modes for the battery units.

Abstract: A battery pack supplies an electrically driven work appliance with electrical drive power. The battery pack has: at least one battery cell, wherein the battery cell has at least one safety device, at least one voltage-carrying surface, an insulating lacquer, wherein the insulating lacquer adheres on the voltage-carrying surface, and at least one cover element. The at least one cover element covers the safety device such that no insulating lacquer adheres on and/or in the safety device.
