Publication number: 20250247710Abstract: Systems and methods for dynamic utilization-based network slice allocation management for user equipment applications are provided. In some embodiments, a slice estimation engine may be implemented to evaluate the network traffic and other application activity data associated with an application running on the UE to determine an operating mode of the application. The slice estimation engine may trigger the UE to request an adjustment to its network slice allocation configurations based on the evaluation. To determine whether or not an application should be reconfigured for a new network slice, the slice estimation engine may evaluate processes that are running on the UE. The slice estimation engine may comprise one or more slice assessment algorithms that determine which slice from a set of available network slices would optimally serve the application based on the network traffic characteristics associated with the application's current mode of operation.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 25, 2024Publication date: July 31, 2025Inventors: Sharath SOMASHEKAR, Diego Estrella CHAVEZ, Akriti KUMAR, Rashmi KUMAR

Patent number: 12373761Abstract: Resource parity scaling includes receiving in real time a plurality of machine-generated input signals from a computer network, the machine-generated signals generated during simultaneous real-time executions of multiple processes using human and compute resources. Based on analyzing the plurality of machine-generated signals, a performance level of each process is determined. The performance level of each process is compared with one or more predetermined key performance indicator (KPI) metrics corresponding to each process. Responsive to the comparing different combinations of the human and compute resources are allocated for performing different ones of the multiple processes. The allocating is based on resource-specific incremental conversion factors corresponding to the compute and human resources. One or more output signals are conveyed to the computer network indicating the different combinations.Type: GrantFiled: January 12, 2023Date of Patent: July 29, 2025Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Rashmi Ananth, Mary Bittar, Rohit Chandran, Elisabeth Kjersten Vehling, Zachary A. Patent number: 12368571Abstract: A computing system includes accelerator devices for hardware acceleration of operations of a fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) application, including a hybrid bootstrapping operation that may be parallelized for increased performance. Hybrid bootstrapping includes a first extraction on a first ciphertext (e.g., Ring Learning with Errors or RLWE) to form a plurality of second ciphertexts (e.g., LWE) corresponding to respective elements of the encrypted data, and a plurality of blind-rotate operations performed independently on the respective second ciphertexts to collectively produce a plurality of third ciphertexts (e.g., RLWE). A second extraction of respective elements of the third ciphertexts forms a plurality of fourth ciphertexts (e.g., LWE), and a repacking of respective elements of the fourth ciphertexts recreates the first-ciphertext representation of the encrypted data with restored modulus and reduced noise.Type: GrantFiled: February 18, 2025Date of Patent: July 22, 2025Assignee: Trustees of Boston UniversityInventors: Rashmi S. Patent number: 12367031Abstract: The system scans a RAN associated with a wireless telecommunication network to obtain an indication of a hardware status and a software status associated with the RAN. The system determines whether there is an update to the hardware or software status associated with the RAN. Upon determining there is the update, the system obtains from a first database an indication of a remote radio head configured to test the update. Based on the indication of the remote radio head, the system obtains from a second database multiple UEs configured to test the update. The system tests the update by causing the remote radio head to send a communication to a UE among the multiple UEs. The system obtains logs associated with the communication and, based on the logs, determines whether the update passes the tests.Type: GrantFiled: May 24, 2023Date of Patent: July 22, 2025Assignee: T-Mobile USA, Inc.Inventors: Sharath Somashekar, Diego Estrella Chavez, Rashmi Kumar, Jennifer Feria Reyes

Patent number: 12330720Abstract: A rear trailer hostler can be used to move a parked trailer without otherwise disengaging pneumatic brakes thereof. For example, the rear trailer hostler can lift the wheels of the trailer off of the ground, thereby allowing a front hostler to move the trailer without a gladhands connection to the trailer pneumatic lines. Alternatively, the rear trailer hostler can move the trailer independently. For example, the trailer can be parked atop the rear trailer hostler and disconnected from the truck. With the rear trailer hostler supporting the locked wheels and the landing gear, the trailer can be moved without requiring the pneumatic brakes to be disengaged. The rear trailer hostler can also provide one or more safety or convenience features, such as a bridging platform or a safety door stop.Type: GrantFiled: October 28, 2021Date of Patent: June 17, 2025Assignee: Robotic Research OpCo, LLCInventors: Alberto Daniel Lacaze, Karl Nicholas Murphy, Eric Meyer, Rashmi Patel
