  • Publication number: 20240339990
Abstract: Power converters on a vehicle may provide electrical power to propulsion and non-propulsion vehicle systems from a battery source. Power converters may include DC link capacitors. An electronically resettable fuse may pass electric current between the battery source and the power converters through a switch module. The switch module may be controlled in a pre-charge mode and a circuit protection mode, wherein the pre-charge mode limits a rate of charging of the DC link capacitor by controlling the electric current with the switch module.

  • Publication number: 20240338386
Abstract: A smart data signals platform for artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML)-based modeling and simulation is structured to pre-process input data by structuring previously unstructured data that relates to a structured data item and linking the structured data to the data item to generate a validated enriched dataset. The validated enriched dataset is used to generate a trigger signal by evaluating at least an aspect to the enriched dataset against at least one criterion that corresponds to a loss hypothesis. The trigger signal is used to automatically monitor subsequently received structured data, access corresponding unstructured data and generate an analysis dataset for one or more machine learning models. The one or more machine learning models generate a computer-based prediction based on the analysis dataset. The prediction can include a resource degradation indicator.

  • Publication number: 20240314681
Abstract: In mobility scenarios, a user equipment (UE) may enter an airplane mod in which the UE has limited or no connectivity to a network. Cell selection latency after terminating the airplane mode may result in a delay in providing network or communication services. Some aspects described herein enable a reduction in latency associated with cell selection after operation in a mobility scenario. For example, a UE may determine that the UE is operating in a mobility scenario, and perform a receive-only cell selection procedure. Additionally, or alternatively, the UE may predict a destination associated with the mobility scenario and may identify a band list for performing a cell selection procedure. In this way, when the UE exits the mobility scenario, the UE reduces a time to successfully complete cell selection.

  • Publication number: 20240314648
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications at a user equipment (UE) are described. The UE may identify that the UE is operating in a high mobility environment, that a first reference signal received power associated with a first cell is decreasing, and that a second reference signal received power associated with a second cell is increasing. The UE may transmit a request for a handover from the first cell to the second cell based on the identifying, the transmitting performed at a time that may be based on one or more network-configured handover timing parameters having one or more values adjusted by the UE. The UE may receive a handover command in response to transmitting the request for handover. The UE may perform a handover from the first cell to the second cell in response to the handover command.

  • Patent number: 12081430
Abstract: Techniques for a hub node to, provisioned in a network site of a hub and spoke overlay network, to receive a network advertisement from the spoke, decode network routing requirements from a border gateway protocol (BGP) large community associated with the network advertisement, and store the network routing requirements in association with a route associated with the spoke. The routing requirements may indicate one or more service(s) to be applied to the packet, a trust level associated with the spoke, and/or a trust zone associated with the spoke. The hub node may receive a packet from the spoke to be transmitted to destination spoke. The hub node may then route the packet to the destination spoke, drop the packet, or send the packet to a service node configured to apply the one or more services to the packet based on the routing requirements.
