  • Patent number: 11797769
Abstract: In response to determining that a particular sequence of natural language input has been generated by a first entity participating in a multi-interaction dialog, a first representation of accumulated dialog state associated with the sequence is obtained from a machine learning model at an artificial intelligence service. Based on the first representation, a state response entry is selected from a collection of state response entries. The state response entry indicates a mapping between a second representation of accumulated dialog state, and a response recorded in a training example of the model. The recorded response is implemented.

  • Patent number: 11797552
Abstract: Techniques and solutions are described for retrieving metadata artefacts from a repository that includes multiple instances of a metadata artefact. The instances can have at least some different content. Metadata artefacts are associated with metadata describing group, searching, or selection criteria, such as one or more of a particular solution, tenant, layer, or version. A request for a metadata artefact can include at least one value for one or more of the criteria, which in turn can be used to identify one or more relevant metadata artefacts. Identifiers for, or content of, relevant metadata artefacts can be returned in response to the request. Fallback logic can be used to determine at least in part what metadata artefacts are relevant to a request, or how to return or process request results.

  • Patent number: 11777562
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for dynamically modifying beamforming weights based on MU-MIMO user device pairings. A quantity of MU-MIMO user device pairings served by a node is determined. Based on a maximum quantity of potential MU-MIMO user device pairings for the node, it is determined that a quantity of the MU-MIMO user device pairings for the node is below a threshold. Because the quantity of the MU-MIMO user device pairings is below the threshold, beamforming weights are modified to widen a vertical main lobe to increase the quantity of MU-MIMO user device pairings.

  • Patent number: 11770584
Abstract: A system and method for optimizing video for transmission on a device includes, in one example, the method includes capturing an original video frame and scaling the original video frame down to a lower resolution video frame. The lower resolution video frame is downscaled using a first encoder to produce a first layer output and the first layer output is decoded. The decoded first layer output is upscaled to match a resolution of the original video frame. A difference is obtained between the upscaled decoded first layer output and the original video frame. The difference is independently encoded using a second encoder to create a second layer output. The first and second layer outputs may be stored or sent to another device.

  • Publication number: 20230281099
Abstract: According to an aspect, metrics of an application are measured, the measured metrics including a first metric and a second metric, the first metric representing a measure of the responsiveness of the application when processing user requests received from users, and the second metric representing a measure of the responsiveness to resolution of problems identified in the application. A single number is calculated based on the metrics including the first metric and the second metric. The calculated single number is provided (to a user) as representing a user impact index for the application. Thus, the user impact index provided captures both the responsiveness of the application when processing user requests and the responsiveness to resolution of problems identified in the application.
