  • Publication number: 20180188166
Abstract: A compact system and method that makes use of a laser based gas detection to monitor aircraft breathing air. The basic principle of the analytical method to be utilized involves measurements of the amount of infrared light (IR) absorbed by the breathing air and contaminants in the air, each which has a unique fingerprint.

  • Publication number: 20160364371
Abstract: Systems and methods provide a mechanism to create and maintain web pages and other types of output pages. The system and methods use an author markup language (AML) to define output pages. Additionally, a Component Markup Language (CML) may be used to define components that may be referenced by the AML. The AML and CML may be translated to an intermediate format, which may then be further processed at runtime to combine dynamic data with the intermediate format to produce the output page.
    Type: Application
    Filed: June 13, 2016
    Publication date: December 15, 2016
Inventors: Peter Zhe Chu, Kenneth Chao-kang Chu, Rajal Rasik Shah, Jun Zhang, Jeffrey David Meyer, Ilya Alexandrovich Izrailevsky, Benjamin Gregg Listwon, Patrick Andre Blanc

  • Publication number: 20030199594
Abstract: The invention relates to a new propellant composition for use with aerosols such as may be used in medical devices such as a metered dose inhaler (or MDI) or a nasal spray device. The propellant features helium as its primary ingredient, preferably at least about 70% and most preferably at or around 100% by weight of the propellant composition, and this propellant can be used in a variety of applications since it is both inert and environmentally safe. The propellant of the invention can thus be utilized advantageously as a safe and environmentally friendly alternative to many current propellants including those based on hydrofluorocarbons (e.g., HFA), fluorocarbons (e.g., CFC), or hydrocarbons such as butane and propane.
