  • Publication number: 20160022498
Abstract: An earplug for water sports has a wing adapted for fixation of the ear plug in the outer ear of the user, and has a tube of a funnelled and tapered configuration forming an audio channel extending within the ear canal. The wing is arranged in an angled position in relation to the tube for adaption to the anatomy of the ear, and has a flexible portion for adaption to the outer ear. A hollow tip element with flanges for sealing the ear canal and for fixating the ear plug in the ear canal surrounds a narrow portion of the tube. The tip element has a nose end with recessed areas for forming a free air canal. The ear plug has a mesh with an open area structure for air permeability that allows sound to pass the mesh and through the audio channel, while preventing water and wind from entering the ear canal.

  • Patent number: 7395081
Abstract: A mobile telephone has a display (240) and a rotator input device (250) comprising a rotatable element and capable of generating commands for browsing and selecting objects on the display. It also has a wireless telecommunication interface to a mobile telecommunications network. A processing device is coupled to the display, the rotator input device and the wireless telecommunication interface. A text-handling software application is executable by the processing device. The processing device is configured, in a first operating mode, to provide first user input by way of the rotator input device (250), said first user input including a number sequence representative of a desired telephone number which is to be reached over the mobile telecommunications network, and to use said first user input when establishing a telephone call connection through the wireless telecommunication interface.

  • Publication number: 20060003818
Abstract: A telephone comprises a first housing part (301) and a second housing part, where the first and second housing parts are electrically and mechanically joined via a tilt and swivel hinge. The hinge is configured to allow movement of the first and second housing parts between a plurality of positions relative to each other, and the hinge comprises a tilt shaft (309) and a swivel shaft arranged along a tilt axis (320) and a swivel axis, respectively. The tilt shaft is arranged at least partly within the first housing part (301) and the first housing part is configured to engage with a hinge lock device (340), which is configured to prevent the tilt shaft (309) from moving relative to the first housing part (301) along the tilt axis.

  • Publication number: 20040253931
Abstract: This invention relates to a rotator translating angular movement into an output representation. In particular, this invention relates to a rotator input device for detecting user interaction. The rotator input device comprises a rotator element arranged on a support enabling angular and tilting movement of the rotator element relative to rotational axis of the rotator element and having an operating surface perpendicular to the axis. The rotator input device further comprises a motion detector for detecting angular movement of the rotator element, a switching assembly for detecting tilting movement of the rotator element during depression of the operating surface and comprises a first plurality switching elements arranged below the operating surface and substantially along the periphery of the rotator element.
