  • Patent number: 11869636
Abstract: An analysis instrument comprises a sample receiving section for receiving samples provided by a plurality of users, an analysis section operable to receive an aliquot of each received sample, perform an analysis of each received aliquot, and generate an output based on the analysis, and a presentation section adapted to present the output in a human discernable format. The analysis instrument further includes an identification section adapted to autonomously generate an identifier unique to each user and each sample provided thereby and to supply each identifier for presentation by the presentation section in a human discernable format together with a portion of the output that corresponds with one or more samples provided by a user to which the identifier is unique. Each identifier consists of one or more graphic symbols, one or more colours, and/or one or more numbers.

  • Publication number: 20230414813
Abstract: Implementations of the disclosed subject matter provide a method of mobile disinfection that includes positioning a mobile robot in an area to be disinfected and receiving a command to perform disinfection at the mobile robot. The processor may determine whether the area is cleared for disinfection based on one or more signals outputted from the one or more sensors of the mobile robot when it is determined that the area is already mapped. A light source of the mobile robot may emit ultraviolet (UV). The processor may generate a two dimensional (2D) map or a three dimensional (3D) map based on at least one of the surface and the object that are detected by a sensor as the mobile robot moves, and an exposure map of at least one of the air, the surface, and/or the object exposed by the emitted UV light in the area to be disinfected and dosage levels of the emitted UV light applied as the mobile robot moves.

  • Publication number: 20230195133
Abstract: Implementations of the disclosed subject matter provide a method that includes receiving, at a communications interface, one or more control signals to control a drive system of the mobile robot to move within an area. A surface within the area and/or an object within the area may be detected using at least one sensor of the mobile robot. Using a processor communicatively coupled to the at least one sensor, the area may be mapped in two dimensions (2D) or three dimensions (3D) based on the detecting of at least one of the surface and the object as the mobile robot moves within the area based on the one or more received control signals. The method may include mapping, using the processor and the communications interface, wireless network communication signal strength as the mobile robot moves within the area based on the one or more received control signals.

  • Publication number: 20230131217
Abstract: Implementations of the disclosed subject matter provide a mobile robot that moves within an area and captures image data by an image sensor. A position of text, an image, and/or video on a display screen of a display mounted to the mobile robot may be adjusted based on the image data captured by the mobile robot that includes one or more persons that are within the area. The text, the image, and/or the video may be at the adjusted position in the display screen of the display and audio via a speaker of the mobile robot to the one or more persons based on their heights, eye level, whether they are seated, or the like.

  • Publication number: 20230110302
Abstract: Implementations of the disclosed subject matter may provide a method that includes emitting, using a light source of a mobile robot, ultraviolet (UV) light to disinfect at least a portion of an area, including the at least one of air, a surface, and an object, where the UV light may be emitted onto one or more exposure sensors disposed in the area. A processor of the mobile robot may plot a representation of the emission of the UV light onto a map of the area to generate an exposure plot, where the representation is of the UV light emitted. The mobile robot may receive images from and/or disinfection levels measured by the one or more exposure sensors. The method may include generating a validation report that includes the exposure plot, images of the exposure sensors, and/or the disinfection levels measured by the one or more exposure sensors.
