Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of nanotechnology, more particularly to a paint or coating composition that allows microbial corrosion in metal surfaces to be suppressed. The composition comprises a paint base formed by ethylene glycol monobutyl ether and nitrocellulose into which carbon nanotubes have been incorporated. Also disclosed is a method for preparing the paint or coating composition, a method for preventing or eliminating biocorrosion in surfaces exposed to aqueous environments, and lastly, the use of the paint or coating composition.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method to produce electricity in a cement clinker production utilizing a kiln and/or a precalciner as combustion chambers to generate electricity, the method including: a. supplying fuel to the precalciner and/or the kiln in a quantity corresponding to at least 110% of a heat value requirement for clinker production operation of the precalciner and/or the rotary kiln per unit weight of clinker, respectively; b. bypassing a portion of hot flue gases from at least one of (i) the kiln and/or (ii) the precalciner; c. leading hot flue gases to a heat recovery steam generator producing steam; d. producing electricity with a power island including a steam turbine equipped with an electrical generator.

Abstract: A grill apparatus to be used in conjunction with ovens that include a heat source and an upper opening. The grill apparatus is rotably mounted within a support frame that is pivotally mounted to the oven so that it can be brought within the opening and expose it to the heat source or separated from the heat source, as desired. A wire mesh for each one of the two identical grill assemblies is provided to sandwich the foodstuff and hold it securely in place while it is rotated to expose both sides to the heat source. A stopper is provided to keep the support frame assembly in the vertical position and flanges are provided to keep it resting in the horizontal position.
