  • Patent number: 6668390
Abstract: A debris recovery device for drainage systems that includes a shaft with a peripheral wall. A basket made out of a meshed material has a spring loaded hingedly mounted bottom wall that is partially opened when it carries a load of a predetermined weight. A peripheral flange rests on the shoulder of the peripheral wall. An oil trap assembly can be optionally added to catch oil spills before reading the drainage system. The oil trap includes a sheet of a porous oil-absorbing material.

  • Publication number: 20030197481
Abstract: A modular multi-axis robot that can be configured to operate with two, three, four, five or six axes of movement and in various combinations of rotational and translational motion. The modules that make up the robot are fully detachable, interchangeable and are functionally independent with respect to each other. This allows the robotic apparatus to provide a flexible and custom solution for many different applications.

  • Patent number: 6394271
Abstract: An anti-rotational system which restrains containers therein from rotating and contacting adjacent containers so as not to abrade the outer surface of the containers features an exterior box having at least one wall having a height at least as great as a height of the containers and a bottom structure. Furthermore, a plurality of pockets are formed within the exterior box structure. Each pocket has a rigid portion and an elastic portion. The rigid portion engages a maximum diameter of the container. The elastic portion flexes so as to allow the maximum diameter region of the container to pass thereby. Once the maximum diameter region of the container has passed by the elastic region, the elastic characteristics of the elastic region allows the elastic region to flex back towards its original position thus ensuring that the elastic portion contacts a smaller diameter of the container.

  • Patent number: 6380924
Abstract: This apparatus is an add-on computer component peripheral for existing computer systems. The mouse/keyboard capture recorder (MCR) is capable of recording keyboard keystrokes, mouse coordinate movements, and mouse actions such as left, middle and right mouse clicks and/or mouse drag movements. The MCR has external cables that connect inline to a host computer's external keyboard and mouse without modification on the host computer system and its peripherals. The MCR apparatus operates independently of the hardware and software that is installed on a host computer system. A microprocessor monitors and controls all operations and stores mouse actions and keyboard actions in non-volatile memory during the MCR's record mode. In the MCR play mode, the apparatus will transmit the stored keyboard/mouse data by sending electrical signals representing the stored data to a host computer system via the mouse port and the keyboard port.

  • Patent number: 6041927
Abstract: An anti-rotational system which restrains containers therein from rotating and contacting adjacent containers so as not to abrade the outer surface of the containers features an exterior box having at least one wall having a height at least as great as a height of the containers. Furthermore, longitudinal ribs connect to the walls and to the bottom structure of the exterior box to form an elastic portion. The longitudinal ribs form sets of ribs which contact a diameter of the container which is smaller than a maximum diameter of the container so as to secure the position of the container. The longitudinal ribs flex so as to allow the maximum diameter region of the container to pass thereby. Once the maximum diameter region of the container has passed by the longitudinal ribs, the elastic characteristics of the longitudinal ribs allow the longitudinal ribs to flex back towards their original position thus ensuring that the longitudinal ribs contact the smaller diameter of the container.

  • Patent number: 5538708
Abstract: In the process for producing titanium dioxide by (a) reacting titanium tetrachloride and oxygen in the vapor phase in a reactor to produce titanium dioxide, and (b) subsequently cooling the titanium dioxide by passing it through a flue consisting of a conventional flue, a finned flue, or combinations thereof, wherein the outlet for the reactor in step (a) has a smaller interior diameter than the inlet for the flue in step (b),the improvement comprising passing the titanium dioxide through a truncated cone-shaped finned flue conduit, the smaller diameter end of the truncated cone-shaped finned flue conduit receiving titanium dioxide produced by the reactor and the larger diameter end of the truncated cone-shaped finned flue conduit discharging titanium dioxide that is received by the flue.
