    Abstract: A discharge system for discharging wastes from a unit producing such wastes, such as a toilet, is disclosed. The system includes a device for creating a partial vacuum, an intermediate container and a collecting basin connected together by pipelines and valves in an arrangement which permits the use of an immediate container having a relatively small volume thereby permitting the use of a smaller vacuum pump. The discharge system is particularly useful for rail-bound vehicles and overland buses.
