  • Patent number: 10273947
Abstract: A drive mechanism including a pneumatic cylinder housing, a piston reciprocating in the housing between a first and second dead centers, a pumping shaft driven by the piston, a valve unit, a gas inlet, a gas outlet, the gas inlet is in fluid communication with a first chamber of the cylinder volume, and a second chamber of the cylinder volume in fluid communication with the gas outlet, when the valve unit is in a first state. The gas inlet is in fluid communication with the second chamber of the cylinder volume, and the first chamber of the cylinder volume in fluid communication with the gas outlet, when the valve unit is in a second state. The drive mechanism provides a valve unit actuator having a magnet located adjacent the valve unit and configured to alternately shift the state of the valve unit between the first state and the second state.

  • Patent number: 9353908
Abstract: The present application relates to a lubrication system (S) comprising dosing means (1-1) for feeding lubricant to a lubrication point. The invention is based on the idea that computerized control means (1-5, 1-6) are arranged to control the operation of the lubrication system (S). The dosing means (1-1) are configured to operate responsive to a control signal provided by the control means (1-5, 1-6) to adjust the amount of lubricant to be fed by the dosing means (1-1, 1-2) to a lubrication point as required by the control means, wherein the amount of lubricant can be adjusted lubrication-point-specifically.

  • Publication number: 20150377229
Abstract: A pump assembly for pumping a fluid lubricant such as grease or oil, the pump assembly comprising: a pump mechanism configured for moving a fluid lubricant; a pneumatic cylinder configured for being powered by an air source, the pneumatic cylinder comprising: a movable member for operating the pump mechanism, wherein the pump assembly further comprises a switch for detecting a position of the movable member; a valve configured for shifting a position of the moveable member upon an activation of the valve; and a control unit operable connected to the switch and the valve. The control unit is configured for controlling the activation of the valve in response to a detection of the position of the movable member by the switch, such that a pumping effect of the pump mechanism can be controlled. The pump assembly can be integrated into a lubrication system.

  • Publication number: 20090126478
Abstract: The invention relates to an oval gear meter for flow measurement, the meter comprising: two oval-shaped gears (1, 2) arranged to rotate in synchronism in a chamber provided in a housing (3), through which chamber a medium to be measured is arranged to flow, the rotating motion of the gears (1, 2) being pro-portional to the flow rate. The meter is equipped with means for detecting the rotating motion of the oval gears (1, 2). The means for detecting the rotating motion of the oval gears (1, 2) comprise a permanent magnet (8) arranged to one of the oval gears (1 or 2), centrically with the rotating shaft (7) thereof, and a sensor circuit (9) arranged on the outer surface of the housing (3) wall, at a location coinciding with that of the permanent magnet (8).
