  • Patent number: 11847603
Abstract: Techniques for a geofence generation feature are described herein. Geospatial vector data for a geographical area and seed points for delivery locations within the geographical area may be obtained. A plurality of polygons that represent the geographical area may be determined based on an algorithm that uses the seed points and the geospatial vector data. A boundary point for each polygon may be determined based on coordinates for the plurality of polygons where each boundary point corresponds to a single seed point. A geofence of a first size may be generated, for each polygon, based on the coordinates for the polygons, the seed point, and the boundary point. Historical scans of GPS data may be obtained from user devices during historical visits to the geographical area. The geofence may be modified to a second size or a different shape based on the historical scans of the GPS data.

  • Publication number: 20190288852
Abstract: In one embodiment, a transaction associated with a first device is identified. Based on the transaction, a first device signature for the first device is determined. A plurality of known device signatures associated with a plurality of known devices is accessed. A plurality of signature transition features between the plurality of known device signatures and the first device signature is identified, wherein each signature transition feature comprises a transition from an attribute of a known device signature to a corresponding attribute of the first device signature. A classification model is then applied to the plurality of signature transition features. Based on an output of the classification model, a plurality of device match probabilities indicating whether the first device is one of the plurality of known devices is obtained. The identity of the first device is then determined based on the plurality of device match probabilities.

  • Publication number: 20190197547
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for use in modifying exposure associated with networks based on one or more events. One exemplary method includes obtaining, by a computing device, content from multiple data sources where the content includes at least one event associated with a region and where the at least one event is not associated with a payment account transaction, and assigning, by the computing device, the at least one event to a category of events based on a type of the at least one event. The method then also includes applying at least one rule to at least one operation of a payment network, for the region, based on a severity associated with exposure of the at least one event to the payment network, thereby modifying the exposure of the payment network in the region in connection with payment account transactions related to the at least one rule.

  • Publication number: 20180121894
Abstract: A message tracking computing device for tracking messages is provided. The message tracking computing device includes a memory in communication with a processor. The processor is programmed to receive user input defining a message tracking scheme, the user input specifying a message index, a tracking duration, and a selected time zone, monitor data signals transmitted over a network, identify at least one candidate message based on the message index, determine, based on a source timestamp included in the at least one candidate message, a corresponding time in the selected time zone for the at least one candidate message, and track, based on the corresponding time for the at least one candidate message, the parameter specified in the message index over the tracking duration.

  • Patent number: 9363467
Abstract: Various systems and methods may benefit from determination of environmental signatures in recordings. For example, such signatures may aid forensic analysis and alignment of media recordings, such as alignment of audio or video recordings. A method can include reading data representative of sensed light in a visual track of a video recording. The method can also include extracting an electric network frequency signal from the data representative of sensed light.

  • Patent number: 9036876
Abstract: A method for authenticating biometric data determines a first set of descriptors of a fingerprint. Each descriptor in the first set represents a region of the fingerprint that includes multiple minutiae. The method compares each descriptor in the first set of descriptors with each descriptor in a second set of descriptors to determine a number of matching descriptors and compares the number of matching descriptors with a threshold for authenticating the biometric data.
