    Abstract: A multimedia enabled portable communication device and method, including a real-time processor (110) and an application processor (120) communicably coupled to a synchronization entity (112). In one embodiment the synchronization entity is an H.324 entity integrated with the real-time processor. The synchronization entity synchronizes a video data stream from the application processor with an audio data stream from the real-time processor based on delay information.
