  • Patent number: 11199516
Abstract: A measurement circuitry (MC) for evaluating a resistance of a resistive gas sensor (GS) comprises a first current path (P1), wherein a first logarithmic compression circuit (LC1) is arranged in the first current path (P1). A reference resistor (Rreference) and a second logarithmic compression circuit (LC2) is arranged in a second current path (P2) of the measurement circuitry (MC). A voltage generator (VG) provides a fixed voltage excitation for the resistive gas sensor (GS) and the reference resistor (Rreference). A first current (I1) received from the resistive gas sensor (GS) flows from the gas sensor (GS) via the first current path (P1) into the first logarithmic compression circuit (LC1). An evaluation circuit (EC) determines the resistance (Rs) of the resistive gas sensor (GS) in dependence on a first and second output signal (Ve1, Ve2) of the first and the second logarithmic compression circuit (LC1, LC2).

Abstract: Deployment of a network service pipeline may be automated by defining workflows comprising functions of instances of elements. Workflows may be defined in a graphical user interface including menus for the selection of elements, functions, and predefined workflows. A workflow may be dynamic such that addition or modification of a function invokes a trigger that automatically populates or modifies parameters of the functions of the workflow. Elements may each have a same set of functions that may be invoked by an orchestrator to perform automated implementation of the workflow. Functions of a workflow may be implemented in batches and may retrieve executable. data from a distributed file store. A test platform with hardware and network simulation may be used to develop functions and workflows.

  • Patent number: 11190364
Abstract: Techniques for seamless certificate replacement for endpoints in hyperconverged infrastructure are disclosed. In one example, a certificate replacement request for an endpoint may be received. Upon receiving the certificate replacement request, a new certificate may be placed in the endpoint such that the endpoint includes an old certificate and the new certificate. Further, dependent endpoints having communication with the endpoint using the old certificate may be discovered and monitored. Furthermore, the new certificate of the endpoint may be placed in the discovered dependent endpoints and existing communication between the endpoint and each of the discovered dependent endpoints using the old certificate may be maintained. Upon completion of the existing communication, next communication between the endpoint and each of the discovered dependent endpoints may be enabled using the new certificate. Then, the old certificate may be decommissioned from the endpoint and the discovered dependent endpoints.

  • Patent number: 11184286
Abstract: A technique is provided for adaptively performing service function chaining based on network context. The technique includes receiving a request comprising a flexible SFC template (FST) for provisioning an SFC of a plurality of service functions (SFs). A service function path (SFP) is determined responsive to receipt of data packets corresponding to a pre-defined flow to be transmitted over the network. Monitoring of a pre-defined plurality of parameters associated with the SFP and a network context is performed after implementing the SFP. Based on the monitoring of the pre-defined plurality of parameters and SFP modification criteria, a requirement for modifying the SFP is identified. Responsive to the identification, the SFP is modified and the performance of the modified SFP is monitored based on one or more of the plurality of parameters, a network context after modifying the SFP, and a pre-defined plurality of service performance thresholds.
