Abstract: The invention includes systems and methods for administering a global information database. A system in accordance with various embodiments of the invention is a global information database system for administering customer inquiry requests for information. The system includes a grey data enrichment module adapted for searching a network for relevant information to a predefined query; generating an abstract containing a portion of relevant information located on the network; and storing a record including the abstract and location information of the relevant information in an associated data storage device. The system can also include a first-type module adapted for receiving an old-type inquiry request; cleansing the old-type inquiry request; and reformatting the old-type inquiry request into a new-type inquiry request.
