    Abstract: The present disclosure describes systems and methods for acquiring structural attributes of a building. One such method comprises acquiring, by one or more cameras of an unmanned aerial vehicle, infrared thermal and visible RGB aerial images of a building; identifying structural components of the building based on an infrared thermal aerial image, wherein a floor structure of the building is identified from a color change in the infrared thermal aerial image between the building and a foundation structure of the building; positioning a bounding box around the floor structure of the building present in the infrared thermal aerial image; and estimating a lowest floor elevation of the building by calculating a lowest floor elevation value based on an amount of image pixels representing a distance between a top of the bounding box and a top of the foundation structure of the building. Other methods and systems are also provided.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide unmanned aerial vehicle-based measurement techniques for building envelope surfaces One such method comprises acquiring, by an unmanned aerial vehicle, an air velocity measurement at an external surface of the high-rise building at a point on the external surface; acquiring, by the unmanned aerial vehicle, an external temperature at the external surface of the high-rise building at the point on the external surface; acquiring, by an infrared camera sensor of the unmanned aerial vehicle, IR measurements at the external surface of the high-rise building at the point on the external surface; and transferring, by the unmanned aerial vehicle, the IR measurements and the external air velocity and temperature measurements to a remote base station, wherein a current thermal performance of the external surface of the high-rise building is determined using the external air velocity, temperature, and IR measurements.

    Abstract: The present disclosure presents systems, apparatuses, and methods of evaluating air quality sensor data. In this regard, a method comprises receiving air quality sensor data from a plurality of portable smart air quality measurement system (SAQMS) communication devices from a plurality of citizens in a geographic location; receiving air quality sensor data from an air quality measurement and calibration (AQMC) station in the geographic location; determining a level of resolution for one or more sensors of a portable SAQMS communication device at a central evaluation and measurement service; correcting air quality data received from the portable SAQMS communication device to compensate for the determined level of resolution at the central evaluation and measurement service; and generating a map of air quality data based on at least the corrected air quality data of the portable SAQMS communication device and a plurality of other portable SAQMS communication devices.
