  • Patent number: 4983952
Abstract: A light signal system for a motor vehicle which utilizes the emergency flashing light system which is incorporated within a motor vehicle which is then to be visually observed by other motorists located rearward of the motor vehicle. Normal braking action will not cause actuation of the light signal system. Upon the braking force exceeding a predetermined level, the conventional brake light system of the motor vehicle will be changed into a flashing mode to make it more apparent to following motorists that a potentially dangerous situation is occurring. Actuation of the light signal system is to be made independent of vehicle inclination from horizontal either due to road gradient or suspension non-uniformly.

  • Patent number: 4934050
Abstract: A containment device to be used in conjunction with a nail clipper to close the open side walls of the nail clipper during the clipping operation to prevent discharge of the clipped nails exteriorly of the nail clipper during the clipping operation. The containment device is to be disengageable from at least one of the side walls of the nail clipper thereby exposing the open side wall to facilitate discharge of the clipped nails into an appropriate collecting container for disposal.

  • Patent number: 4901391
Abstract: A motor operated, hand held apparatus for dislodging and removing of accumulated earwax within the canal of a hearing aid. This apparatus utilizes a narrow elongated tool which has a spiral exterior surface which is to be inserted within the canal of the hearing aid and operated at high speed to remove and move the earwax exteriorly of the canal. Associated with this tool is a cover which is to be movable to different positions to limit the amount of extension of the tool to within the canal to thereby eliminate any potential damage to the electronic mechanism of the hearing aid.

  • Patent number: 4667177
Abstract: A brake light signal system for a motor vehicle which utilizes a plurality of different colored lights which are to be visually observed by individuals located rearward of the motor vehicle. As in increasing amount of braking force is applied, a different colored light is activated to thereby indicate to the individuals located to the rear of the motor vehicle whether only a slight amount of braking force is being applied, or whether a medium amount of braking force is being applied, or a severe amount of braking force is being applied. The actuation of the brake light signal system is made nearly independent of vehicle inclination from the horizontal either due to road gradient or suspension non-uniformity.
