The verification log may be generated by a platform for verification of a digital identity of a human user in response a request for verification of a human user's identity from a relying party. Such verification may be performed via online transactions or via an identity verification device. The non-repudiable proof of identity may include records in the verification audit log that may be non-reversible. As such, anonymized records may be maintained that demonstrate proof of identity verification without providing sensitive details. The verification log may be accessible by relying parties and/or end users to provide a record of verifications.

Abstract: A platform for verification of a digital identity of a human user in response a request for verification of a human user's identity from a relying party. The platform may include a digital identity credentialling database storing a plurality of issuing authority credentialling standards that define verification of a digital identity issued by an issuing authority. The platform may receive from a user device a user digital identity stored locally at the user device. The platform may include a verification engine operative to access the digital identity credentialling database and retrieve an issuing authority credentialling standard associated with the user digital identity and apply the issuing authority credentialling standard to the user digital identity to perform a verification operation on the user digital identity. The relying party communication interface returns an outcome of the verification operation to the relying party.
