  • Patent number: 11940020
Abstract: A constant velocity joint assembly includes a housing body having an outer surface and an inner surface extending between a first housing end and a second housing end along a central axis. The inner surface of the housing body defines a raceway. A plurality of rollers are disposed in the raceway. A flexible boot is operably fixed to the housing body, with the flexible boot extending along the central axis. A deflector ring is fixed to the outer surface of the housing body. The deflector ring has a metal inner ring portion and a non-metal outer ring portion.

  • Patent number: 11753825
Abstract: A unique method and apparatus for metal valley installation that waterproofs shingled roof applications in valley (e.g., such as ā€œVā€ or ā€œWā€ metal valley angled roof) applications. Applicant's invention provides a membrane situated between the metal valley and the shingles with a portion of the membrane being situated and secured to the roof deck between the ice and water shield and the shingles. The membrane creates a dead zone that collects or prevents ice and water from backing up from the roof valley over the metal valley, over the edge of the metal valley, and in between the ice and water shield and the shingles.

  • Publication number: 20130056599
Abstract: An apparatus for toollessly, releasably attaching an optical component to a structure is disclosed. The optical component has a snap fastener. The snap fastener may be integrally formed with and part of the optical component. An accepting feature is attached to the structure. When the snap fastener is brought into contact with the accepting feature, the accepting feature accepts the snap fastener thereby toollessly, releasably attaching the optical component to the structure.

  • Publication number: 20040041134
Abstract: An appropriate engine plate, having a bolt hole pattern to match a hole pattern in an engine in a front engine van type vehicle, is attached to an adapter arm tube attachable to the arm (e.g. boom) of a conventional engine floor hoist. One end of the adapter arm tube is telescopically fitted onto the hoist arm, and the other tube end has a pair of spaced apart forwardly extending hinge plates that define a horizontal attachment axis. The engine plates have socket-like hinge plates which can be connected with hinge pins to the adapter hinge plates of the adapter arm, providing a horizontally aligned hinge attachment between the engine and the hoist arm. The tilt angle of the engine plate and an attached engine is adjustable by a tilt control in the form of an extendable/retractable shaft which acts between the hoist adapter arm and a region of the engine, such as the crankshaft pulley, vertically spaced from the horizontal hinge axis of the attached engine adapter plate.
