  • Publication number: 20100049807
Abstract: Methods, systems, and machine-readable media are disclosed for client-based filtering of email content. According to one embodiment, a method for providing client-based filtering of email content can comprise detecting an outbound email with a filter implemented on an email client application. A determination can be made with the filter whether the outbound email is addressed to a recipient outside of an organization. In response to determining the outbound email is addressed to a recipient outside of the organization, a determination can be made with the filter whether to allow the email to be sent. Determining whether to allow the email to be sent can comprise scanning the content of the email, and/or any attachments, and determining whether the content of the email contains protected information.

  • Publication number: 20090160590
Abstract: A magnet controller supplied by an AC source controls a lifting magnet. Two bridges allow DC current to flow in both directions in the lifting magnet. During “Lift”, relatively high voltage is applied to the lifting magnet until it reaches its cold current. Then voltage is lowered. After a desired interval, once the magnet has had time to build its electromagnetic field, voltage is further reduced to prevent the magnet from overheating. The magnet lifting forced is maintained due to the magnetic circuit hysteresis. During “Drop”, reverse voltage is applied briefly to demagnetize the lifting magnet. At the end of the “Lift” and the “Drop”, most of the lifting magnet energy is returned to the line source. A logic controller controls current and voltage of the magnet and calculates the magnet's temperature. In one embodiment, a “Sweep” switch is provided to allow reduction of the magnet power to prevent attraction to the bottom or walls of magnetic rail cars or containers.

  • Publication number: 20080184239
Abstract: An anti-debugging mechanism is implemented into a game application, such that the anti-debugging mechanism is difficult to detect, difficult to bypass, and difficult to remove. The anti-debugging mechanism is implemented in a simulated thread pool. The anti-debugging mechanism executes on a different thread than the thread on which the game application executes and is randomly activated. When a debugger is detected, the performance of the debugger is hindered by halting the game application on a different thread than the game thread. Further, a period of time is allowed to elapse before the game application is halted.

  • Publication number: 20070295802
Abstract: Methods, systems, and machine-readable media are disclosed for managing financial data associated with a plurality of financial service providers. According to one embodiment, a method of managing financial data associated with a plurality of financial service providers can comprise receiving a set of criteria for identifying one or more accounts for one of the financial service providers. The criteria can specify an environment in which the financial data is stored, the environment comprising a plurality of categories for storing the financial data. The criteria can also include a date criterion. The one or more accounts can be identified based on the set of criteria in the environment specified by the criteria. The identified accounts can be evaluated based on the set of criteria. In some cases, the method can further comprise updating the accounts based on the evaluation.

  • Publication number: 20070294189
Abstract: Methods, systems, and machine-readable media are disclosed for managing financial data associated with a plurality of financial service providers. Generally speaking, embodiments of the present invention provide tools for use in accessing a variety of financial and/or account information a large corpus of account information that may be divided among multiple database and/or systems. These tools can include, but are not limited to, a tool for providing a set of account statistics, a tool for providing a set of product control files, and/or a tool for providing a set of batch adjustment codes. In these, as well as in cooperation with other tools for searching and/or managing the information, a negative condition can be used to identify accounts or information to be excluded from a process or results.

  • Publication number: 20070203726
Abstract: Methods, systems, and machine-readable media are disclosed for managing financial data associated with a plurality of financial service providers. According to one embodiment, a method of managing financial account information associated with one or more financial service providers can comprise receiving one or more selections defining a report to be generated and identifying the financial account information to be included in the report. The financial account information to be included in the report can be read from one or more data stores based on the selections. The report of the financial account information can be generated based on the selections.

  • Patent number: 5413506
Abstract: An electrical connector assembly has a plug (1) and socket (2) which are engageable along axis (3) for a plug body (34) to be received within a socket body (4) as a tubular core (5) of the socket receives a core (35) of the plug. Spring terminals (13) are located within an annular cavity (7) and blade terminals (31) are located within an annular cavity (36) of the respective socket and plug bodies. Terminals (13) have cantilevered contact faces (18) inclined relative to the axis (3) and the terminals (31) have contact edges (52) which slide over the contact faces (18) to provide electrical contact and a cleaning/wiping action therebetween. Contact faces (18) are displaced inwardly against their resilient biasing by engagement with the contact edges (52) while the terminals (31) are restrained from outward displacement by seatings (42) in the wall (34).The spring terminals (13) and blade terminals (31) are fitted axially to their respective bodies through slots 11 and (38) respectively.

  • Patent number: 5316503
Abstract: An electrical connector has an insulating body 30 with longitudinal chambers 45, 46 and 47 running through it. Electrical contact elements 81, 82 and 83 are received one each in the chambers. Each chamber has projections .alpha. and .beta. and each contact element has a rebate 86. Rotation of the contact element in the chamber relative to the body from an initial orientation to a second orientation engages the rebate 86 with the projections .alpha. and .beta. to restrain the elements from longitudinal displacement relative to the body. Projections 50 on the external face of the body 30 can engage an external portion of the contact element when that element is rotated to its second orientation to retain the element from rotating relative to the body. The connector can be a plug or a socket. A corresponding method of assembling an electrical connector is described.

  • Patent number: 4067462
Abstract: A combined coke oven pushing and charging machine is supported on tracks for movement along the front of a bank of coke ovens and is operable to open an oven door, push the coke from the open oven, and close the oven door, and to open the door of an adjacent empty oven, charge the oven with a uniform, level, compact charge of coal, and close the door. The machine is then moved along the track a distance equal to the width of one oven, a second oven is pushed, and the oven previously pushed is charged. The pusher head is provided with roller supports adapted to roll along the oven floor during the pushing operation, and the head is water cooled to prevent warping and damage by the intense heat of the coke. The coal is deposited into the empty ovens by a drag-type endless chain conveyor having a width substantially equal to the width of the coking chambers and which is telescoped into the oven from the pusher door opening.
