    Abstract: The Navigator is multiple degree of freedom neuro rehabilitation system. The Navigator simultaneously exercises both pronation and supination of the wrist (rotation) and flexion and extension of the fingers (grasp and release) for rehabilitation and monitoring of patients with motor control deficits due to a neurological ailment, such as stroke. In addition, the Navigator provides a visual, interactive environment for performing therapeutic exercises. The interactive environment provides motivation to the patient and can provide real-time feedback to the patient about the quality of the movements being performed.
