  • Patent number: 12280382
Abstract: A centrifuge system includes a centrifuge and a feed line fluidly connected to centrifuge with the centrifuge driven by a hydraulic system. The hydraulic system includes an electric motor driving a hydraulic pump connected to a fluid reservoir with the hydraulic pump providing hydraulic fluid to one or more hydraulic motors which in turn rotate the centrifuge. The system includes a pressure sensor for measuring fluid pressure and a speed sensor for measuring the rotational speed of the centrifuge. A controller can be in communication with the hydraulic system and the sensors and can receive measurements from the sensors and adjust the pressure of hydraulic fluid flowing to the one or more hydraulic motors to maintain a rotational speed of the centrifuge based on differing loads. The system can include one or more valves, controlled by the controller, which can also adjust the hydraulic pressure of the system.

  • Publication number: 20250108387
Abstract: A screen assembly for a cuttings dryer has a frustoconical screen assembly that has a plurality of screen segments. The individual screen segments each extend along the sidewall of the screen assembly from the lower part of the screen assembly to the upper part of the screen assembly. Each screen segment may be replaced by accessing the screen segment in the CD body, and replacing the damaged or worn segment, without the need to remove the entire screen, or to remove the undamaged screen segments. A cutting dryer includes an improved screen assembly including a plurality of screen segments. A method for replacing a screen segment is provided.

  • Publication number: 20240340185
Abstract: Automatic vocal contract formation is provided. It is determined whether an indication of acceptance of an audio file and a transcript file corresponding to a verbal communication containing an agreement was received from parties. The audio file and the transcript file having been digitally signed by the parties based on cryptographic private keys associated with a quantum-safe dual signature scheme are exchanged in response to determining that the indication of acceptance was received from each of the parties. Verification of authenticity of the audio file and the transcript file of the vocal contract is received from the parties based on each of the parties successfully verifying digital signatures of the audio file and the transcript file using cryptographic public keys associated with the quantum-safe dual signature scheme.

  • Publication number: 20240302927
Abstract: A stylus, in accordance with one embodiment, includes an elongated body having an input mechanism for receiving user selection of a color to be output upon interaction of the stylus with a computing device. The stylus also includes a nib functional as a transmitting unit to publish the selected color to a receiver of the computing device when the nib is in contact and/or near contact with the receiver. A computer-implemented method for synchronizing a stylus having color selection to a computing device, in accordance with one embodiment, includes outputting a request to a user to select a color on the stylus and touch the stylus to a receiver of the computing device. Touch of the stylus to the receiver of the computing device is detected. A capacitance of the stylus is calculated. The capacitance of the stylus is stored in association with the color.

  • Publication number: 20240232317
Abstract: A computer implemented method for authentication using a stylus. The stylus generates a stylus token using a key stored in the stylus and a current timestamp, wherein the stylus token is valid for a selected period of time. The stylus transmits the stylus token to a computer system. The stylus repeats generating the stylus token using the key stored in the stylus and the current timestamp and transmitting the stylus token to the computer system in response to the stylus token expiring after the selected period of time.

  • Publication number: 20240193198
Abstract: The QUERY PROCESSING AND VISUALIZATION APPARATUSES, METHODS AND SYSTEMS (“QPAV”) provides a platform that, in various embodiments, is configurable to receive, evaluate, and respond to queries over collections of structured and unstructured data, such as call records having associated metadata. Implementations provide for the generation of graphical representations of call networks, comprising nodes and links, in response to a received query which may comprise terms spoken in one or more call transcripts. The visual representation of query results may be enhanced by metadata, and may be configurable by the user to highlight particular connections, behaviors, or other insights associated with callers in the network.

  • Publication number: 20240110361
Abstract: This disclosure addresses the problem of preventing sediment laden water (“sediment slurry”) resulting from hydraulic collection of nodules from the seabed from entering the riser and lift system that carries the nodules to the surface as a slurry. An example includes collecting nodules from the seabed by hydraulic suction, separating the nodules utilizing an inverse hydrocyclone.
