  • Patent number: 5642745
Abstract: A system for cleaning large storage tanks having a relatively small access opening is disclosed. An insertion chamber housing a dual tracked collapsible robotically operated vehicle is attached to a side entry port of the tank. The dual tracked vehicle is hydraulically powered up and enters the tank, whereupon it expands into its open operating condition. The dual tracked vehicle carries an articulatable nozzle for spraying cleaning fluid in all directions in two planes mutually perpendicular to each other inside the tank. It also carries a closed circuit television camera (CCTV) which is used by a remote operator to monitor its position and to control its movements.

  • Patent number: 5640982
Abstract: A system for cleaning storage tanks is disclosed having a remotely controlled collapsibile tracked robotic tank entry vehicle, a closed circuit television system for observation including controllable light sources and an articulatible nozzle, also remotely controllable. The nozzle is capable of rotation fully 360 degrees in each of two planes perpendicular to each other under hydraulic control fully independent of its source of cleaning fluid for delivery to the tank.

  • Patent number: 4062123
Abstract: An adjustable routing template intended for use with a routing tool, such as a powered router having a router bit and a guide or reference spindle or bushing, in a manner allowing a craftsman to rout a variety of ornamental designs consisting of grooves and recesses on work pieces such as custom cabinets, doors and the like, the template consisting of a set of bar members or leg members which are identical to each other except some may be longer than others, with the bar members being slidingly interconnected by a plurality of identically configured adjustable connecting links and selectable wedge shaped angle block members to define an open frame type configuration having a flat continuous co-planar bottom surface to lie parallel to and flatly on a work piece to be routed in a manner to provide rigid guide edges in adjustable spaced relationship to the work piece for guiding the routing tool thereover.

  • Patent number: 3985168
Abstract: An adjustable routing template for use with a routing tool in a manner allowing a craftsman to rout a variety of ornamental grooves and recesses on work pieces such as cabinets, doors and the like, the template consisting of a set of four identical bars for legs which are slidingly interconnected at opposite end portions thereof to define a frame type configuration for engaging corner edges of the work piece with the frame overlapping and lying parallel to the work piece to provide rigid guide edges in adjusted spaced relationship to the work piece for guiding the router thereover. Guide members are readily received in corners defined by adjacent bars to provide for the routing of a variety of ornamental designs on the work piece.
