    Abstract: The invention is drawn to a self-propelled power screed for smoothing freshly poured concrete. The screed is fully supported upon two or more vertically adjustable ski-shaped bases that manipulate the height of the screed relative to the surface. Each of the supports is powered by its own motor and may be adjusted independently in order to achieve a desired operating slope. The supports are situated within the outer limits of the screed body.
