  • Publication number: 20240059005
Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of printed circuit board technologies. A printed circuit board with good heat dissipation performance is provided in embodiments and includes a substrate serving as a board body of the printed circuit board, a heating component embedded in the substrate, and a cooling liquid channel disposed in the substrate. The cooling liquid channel is disposed in the printed circuit board, and passes around the heating component to exchange heat with the heating component, so that a heat dissipation path is shortened and heat dissipation efficiency is improved, thereby quickening heat dissipation of the printed circuit board, and prolonging a service life of the printed circuit board.

  • Publication number: 20240052091
Abstract: Improved thermoplastic polyurethane compositions include a diol component and a diisocyanate component wherein the diol component comprises at least one linear aliphatic diol having the general formulas HO—(CH2)x-OH wherein x is an integer from 9 to 18 and one or more cyclic diols having 6 or more carbons, or one or more aromatic diols, wherein the molar ratio of isocyanate groups to alcohols (NCO Ratio) is from about 0.95 to 1.05, and the reaction mixture comprises less than 20% of a polymeric diol component having a glass transition temperature of less than 0° C. The TPU compositions exhibit a combination of moderate elastic modulus, high elongation to yield, high elongation to break, high optical clarity, good stain resistance, good elastic recovery, and excellent force retention in the presence of water at moderate temperatures.

  • Patent number: 11780950
Abstract: The present invention is based, in part, on the discovery that the polymeric materials described herein produce polyurethane copolymers with advantageous optical properties. In particular embodiments, polyurethane copolymers comprise repeating units of isosorbide and a difunctional linker where the difunctional linkers can be diisocyanate, diisothiocyanate, dicarboxylic acid, and other monomers. Some of the advantageous optical properties of these polymeric materials include a refractive index of about 1.5 and an Abbe value of at least about 50. Also described are methods for producing these polyurethane copolymers.

  • Publication number: 20220233289
Abstract: Polymeric shells which fit over one or more natural teeth to change the perceived color of the teeth, and optionally to provide orthodontic support. The shells can be prepared by thermoforming selected polymeric sheets which contain optical additives over a physical image of the teeth, or by depositing polymeric compositions containing optical additives over a physical image of the teeth, or by additive manufacturing based upon a digital image of the teeth. The optical additives cause the combination of the shell and the teeth to have a desired appearance. At least part of the shell preferably has transparency greater than 75%, particularly greater than 85%.
