Abstract: Described is a multi-video/audio purpose portable electronic device which is capable of providing both TV and broadcast functions, and even a storage function. By using the multi-video/audio purpose portable electronic device, a user can watch or listen to a TV/broadcast program received externally, store the TV/broadcast program and watch the stored TV/broadcast program on different computers at different locations. In addition, an application software necessary for operating the portable electronic device on the computer may be directly stored in the portable electronic device itself. As such, a promoted convenience and lower cost are achieved for the multi-video/audio purpose portable electronic device.

In addition, a specific application software necessary for operating the multivideo-purpose portable electronic device on the computer may be directly stored in the multivideo-purpose portable electronic device itself.
