Publication number: 20240070547Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for autonomous computing replacing or augmenting a human user of computer programs, where access to internal operations of the computer program is not used. An application controller can use the display output of a computer program to determine a current state of the computer program, using the disclosed embodiments. For example, identity of menu options of the computer program can be determined from image frames obtained from the display output of the computer program and used to determine the current state of the computer program. The application controller can provide input commands to the computer program to execute the computer program from the current state to a destination state.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 6, 2023Publication date: February 29, 2024Inventor: Curtis Ray Robinson, JR.

Publication number: 20230388422Abstract: Implementations relate to determination and display of estimated hold durations for calls. In some implementations, a computer-implemented method includes obtaining an identifier of a target entity, the identifier usable by a first call device to initiate a call between the first call device and the target entity. A hold duration is determined that is an estimated amount of time before the call is matched to a human agent when the call is initiated at a particular time that is prospective to a current time. The hold duration is determined based on previous calls between one or more call devices and the target entity. The hold duration is provided for display by the first call device prior to the initiation of the call between the first call device and the target entity.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 9, 2023Publication date: November 30, 2023Inventors: Joseph Joseph Cherukara, Hong Chen, Andrew George Shebanow, Rebecca Chiou, Yixuan Geng, Curtis Ray Robinson, Jr., Yi Wang, Yue Gan, Charlotte Hult, Bin Sun

Publication number: 20220293019Abstract: A flag holder and flag display are disclosed. The flag holder includes an upright flag staff with a plurality of ground penetrating stakes extend from the bottom end. A flag holding rod has a proximal end and a distal end. A coupling is defined at the proximal end that is configured for rotation of the flag holding rod about the upright flag staff. The distal end is configured to carry a top edge of a flag in a fully unfurled condition. A stop assembly is coupled to the upright flag staff to rotationally support the flag holding rod at a desired elevation on the flag staff. A sleeve on a vertical edge of the flag may be rotationally carried on the top end of the flag staff.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 12, 2021Publication date: September 15, 2022Inventor: Bill Ray Robinson

Publication number: 20050256768Abstract: A computer system for conducting electronic commerce through advertisements. The system transmits the advertisements to prospective customers' computers or other electronic devices via the Internet, World Wide Web or other electronic system. When the user clicks on or otherwise chooses to interact with the advertisement, the system opens direct communication with the advertiser's system. The system then provides the prospective customers with some or all of the following options: establishing live communication with the advertiser's representatives through text chat or video conferencing, browse products, request product information, make a purchase, calculate financing costs and obtain pricing or other product information. Interaction with the advertiser occurs without having the prospective customer referred, hyper linked or otherwise taken to the advertiser's system or Web site.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 12, 2004Publication date: November 17, 2005Inventor: Ray Robinson

Patent number: 6085877Abstract: A damper provides tunable variable rates in both extension and compression operation. A piston is carried in a cylinder tube separating out extension and compression chambers. The piston carries a first valving assembly that is tuned to provide a first damping level when fluid flows through the piston from the extension chamber to the compression chamber and a second valving assembly that is tuned to provide a second damping level when fluid flows through the piston from the compression chamber to the extension chamber. A control valve assembly is mounted to move with the piston. When the control valve assembly is closed, fluid flow between the compression and extension chamber flows substantially only through the first and second valving assemblies and when the control valve is open at least some fluid flows between the compression and extension chambers through a secondary valve assembly without passing through the first and second valving assemblies.Type: GrantFiled: June 26, 1998Date of Patent: July 11, 2000Assignee: General Motors CorporationInventors: Steven Ray Robinson, James Louis Lopez, Jr., Donelle Robert Mills, Gary Lee Johnston, Richard Edward Longhouse, Michael Leslie Oliver

Patent number: 5856999Abstract: The apparatus (101) and method provide for data transmission capability on bonded data channels of a communications network (104), such as an integrated services digital network, utilizing a single serial communication controller ("SCC") for the bonded data channels. The apparatus (101) includes an interface transceiver (210), interface circuitry (220), and an integrated multiprotocol processor (200). The integrated multiprotocol processor (200) contains an SCC (420) which may be utilized for data transmission on bonded data channels, with other SCCs (430, 440) available for use on other channels. The apparatus and method provide for proper data alignment of primary (or master) channel data and secondary channel data on the bonded channels, through the same SCC, through utilization of a predetermined information pattern transmitted in a loopback mode (810, 820) of the interface transceiver (210), to the receiver of the SCC (830).Type: GrantFiled: January 24, 1996Date of Patent: January 5, 1999Assignee: Motorola Inc.Inventors: Alan Ray Robinson, Timothy Lee Williams, John Charles Richards

Patent number: 5734829Abstract: A method and program for processing a volume of data such as seismic data on a parallel computer system having a distributed memory system, a host node and a plurality of worker nodes. The output data volume is sliced into horizontal slices and one or more slices are assigned to each worker node. Each worker node performs Kirchoff 3D DMO operations on that portion of the input traces for processing the horizontal slice or slices assigned to that processing node, and passes the output slices to the host node. The host node then assembles the slices into the output data volume. Where there are M worker nodes and the number of slices exceeds M, every M.sup.th slice is assigned to a worker node in a round-robin fashion to balance the load among the worker nodes.Type: GrantFiled: October 20, 1995Date of Patent: March 31, 1998Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventor: Billy Ray Robinson
