The hold duration is determined based on previous calls between one or more call devices and the target entity. The hold duration is provided for display by the first call device prior to the initiation of the call between the first call device and the target entity.

    Abstract: A flag holder and flag display are disclosed. The flag holder includes an upright flag staff with a plurality of ground penetrating stakes extend from the bottom end. A flag holding rod has a proximal end and a distal end. A coupling is defined at the proximal end that is configured for rotation of the flag holding rod about the upright flag staff. The distal end is configured to carry a top edge of a flag in a fully unfurled condition. A stop assembly is coupled to the upright flag staff to rotationally support the flag holding rod at a desired elevation on the flag staff. A sleeve on a vertical edge of the flag may be rotationally carried on the top end of the flag staff.

    Abstract: A damper provides tunable variable rates in both extension and compression operation. A piston is carried in a cylinder tube separating out extension and compression chambers. The piston carries a first valving assembly that is tuned to provide a first damping level when fluid flows through the piston from the extension chamber to the compression chamber and a second valving assembly that is tuned to provide a second damping level when fluid flows through the piston from the compression chamber to the extension chamber. A control valve assembly is mounted to move with the piston. When the control valve assembly is closed, fluid flow between the compression and extension chamber flows substantially only through the first and second valving assemblies and when the control valve is open at least some fluid flows between the compression and extension chambers through a secondary valve assembly without passing through the first and second valving assemblies.

    Abstract: A method and program for processing a volume of data such as seismic data on a parallel computer system having a distributed memory system, a host node and a plurality of worker nodes. The output data volume is sliced into horizontal slices and one or more slices are assigned to each worker node. Each worker node performs Kirchoff 3D DMO operations on that portion of the input traces for processing the horizontal slice or slices assigned to that processing node, and passes the output slices to the host node. The host node then assembles the slices into the output data volume. Where there are M worker nodes and the number of slices exceeds M, every M.sup.th slice is assigned to a worker node in a round-robin fashion to balance the load among the worker nodes.
